Blue Sea Beach Resort

Je recommande très fortement cet hôtel ou le personnel est très sympathique et les repas variés et excellent,de plus la plage de sable fin est juste en bas de l hôtel .Les serviettes de plage sont changés tous les jours et les chambres de l'hôtel sont nettoyées chaque jour.

Hotel ist etwas unpersönlich, hat aber eine sehr schöne Anlage mit mehreren Pools iund Bars und direktem Strandzugang mit kostenlosen Liegen und Schirmen. An Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Wir haben uns woh gefühlt. Essen war abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft

So we just come back from our one week family vacation. Hotel location is perfect, not far from small villages and Rhodes city. Sea is clear and sandy, with little small rocks. Hotel is not too big, but divided to different sections, so for some rooms the elevators are far too away and had to use stairs all the time. And some rooms are below restaurant so all the time was noise form moving chairs. Rooms are small, and doors are thins so all noise comes through. If you have neighbour that smokes, you cannot leave balcony door open. The cleaned room daily, and made the bed, but the floor was still sandy. And only one day I had shower with hot water, all other days it was chilly. Breakfast was always the same, lunch I do not know, as we made for lunch break only once, dinner food varies, but meat was kind of dry all the time. Lots of fruits. There was gluten free food and vegetables. Kids loved pizza. There was many choice of them. Staff was friendly, for exception of one morning, when one chef told me that I cannot take slice of pie without plate?! Really? There was vary of cocktails made from local alcohol. But the alcohol content wasn’t 40. It was about half of it, as they made cocktails half rum or gin and half coke or tonic. The coke and tonic were made of syrup, all the juices as well. So there was no real juice even for Mimosa cocktail. Aperol was also local, so it tasted little bit different. And they did not shake cocktails after pouring them, so there ingredients were in layers. Kind of weird that I had to mix them myself. And what bothers me that one barman put the glasses in front of himself, but not in front of my, so I had to reach them over the bar counter. But over all it was great vacation, sea was warm and very near. There was always sunbeds, although we were annoyed that we are not allowed to move more than two sunbeds to one umbrella, for lifeguard reasons. But there was no lifeguard at all. Pool was freezing cold. And about cleaning, they cleaned public areas only once per day, so when in the evening there was vomit in one place, then the vomit was still there in the morning, that was very much unpleasant to see!

Just returned from a great week at Blue Sea Beach Hotel. My husband and I stayed with our 9 year old grandson who lives with autism. Emailed hotel before arrival Nathalie and Sophia in guest relations listened to the needs for him . We arranged a late check out before we arrived. We were in room 137 which over looked the pool and the beach. Room had 3 beds in , it was of a high standard. 2 downsides to the room , lack of space for 3 peoples clothes,1 single wardrobe space and 2 small drawers. There is a case box with a drawer under it. We couldnt sit on the balcony as the smoking area for the hotel was directly under the balcony. There is a kettle , fridge , tv ( only Sky news in English). Small fridge . Rainfall shower , small hairdryer in bathroom. The resturant did get very busy at breakfast and evening meal, was quieter at lunchtime as a lot of people used the beach snack bar. There was plenty good quailty food at every meal , including gluten free options. Drinks in the resturant were self service , but not at the snack bar, pool bar or lobby bar. Ice-cream was plenty for the kids and the pool bar served free crepes from 11.30-5.30pm The hotel was very clean and plenty areas to sit. No sunbed wars as there were plenty around the pools and on the beach. Animation team done their best with entertainment. Faliraki is about a 30-40 min walk . 8 euros in a taxi. We hired a car for 2 days , which is a must if you want to see the whole island.

Hotel didn't live upto expectations for us, we were put in a room that looked out onto a generator and dirty side track. Rubbish bins dirty mattresses next door. Room wasn't cleaned particularly well. We did bring this to reception attention but not alot was done if anything. Pools are absolutely freezing!! The sea is much warmer! No shoes in the theatre only a little entertainment in beach bar. Couldn't get a table in the burger restaurant as busy the whole time we were there. Buffet restaurant felt like a canteen soooo busy!! If you have children don't bother with the indoor pool, they wernt even allowed to speak in there without being told to be quiet because its a spa pool (they really wernt noise atall!) No idea why they even let kids in there if rules are that strict! On a good note food was good (drinks poor) animation team were great and we loved the beach. Staff friendly. Wouldn't go back.

I would like to recommend Aegeo Spas hairdresser - Maria. Made beautiful French braids for my daughter that stayed tight for several days. A great hairstyle for swimming and enjoying the summer. I also recommend it as a master of men's hairstyles. Aegeo spas very good massages, kind staff.
