Pyramids Eyes Hotel

This place shouldn't be operating. Our first day we were in an old apartment absolutely disgusting, all bedsheets were dirty, there was no hot water to take a shower in the morning. On our second day they finally put us in the bedroom we have booked, it was as dirty as before and suddenly there was people in our balcony. We spent 2 days sharing a towel, they didn't have more. Shower in both rooms didn't work properly and there was no pressure in shower water at all.

We had a late flight and informed the hotel multiple times we would be checking in late -between 11pm and 12am. The hotel confirmed this with us multiple times- including just before our flight. When we arrived to check in, the staff started to speak to each other in Arabic(which we don't speak). When we asked what was wrong they said that they had given our room to someone else. We were then told (by who seemed to be the manager) that they could give us a room but it had to be cleaned first. He then opened the door only to leave quickly, as there was already some poor girl sleeping there!! So it was midnight, we had just arrived in Giza, and now had nowhere to stay. The only option that the manager gave us was saying that 'there might be a room in our other hotel- but you probably won't like it.'The only member of staff who helped us was a teenage boy who offered us the WiFi password so thay we could look up somewhere to stay. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thankfully our driver from the airport had helped bring our bags up and he found us another guesthouse for the night.

Tout est horrible, depuis l’arrivée, pas respectueux ni sérieux même avec la confirmation…… ils ont même refusé nous donner la chambre d’après longtemps de conduire jusque là , on était très fatigués , pour ça on a cherché d’autre hôtel Je ne y conseille jamais , très mauvaise expérience pour moi et ma femme A notre avis, c’est une fois dans la vie de rencontrer chose comme ça , meme c’est beaucouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Extremely clean hostel. The staff is so nice. Great location right next to the pyramids. The free breakfast is very well portioned. I really enjoyed my stay here, it made my Cairo experience so much better. The staff was very accommodating with check in hours as well

We only stayed at this hotel once. when we arrived, as we were with the guide offered by the hotel, we went straight to the reception that has access by an elevator. The reception is on the sixth floor. We stayed in a room that smelled like cigarettes on the pillow and the hot water ran out after about 2 minutes of showering. we contacted reception and were told to wait 3 hours, which was really bad as it was very cold and we were exhausted from a day of sightseeing in another city. At dawn it was possible to hear the loud noise of the neighboring shower. Simple but delicious breakfast. Best view of the pyramids I've had since arriving in Cairo.

Arrived on the 15th of Feb, free taxi pickup from the airport it was a very good start, when arrived at the hotel, immediately offered lots of tours, as it was late I told Sayed it would be better to organise in the morning, when spoke to Sayed in the morning we booked the pyramid tour, he then charged us 20 pound for the taxi there and back from the pyramids, very very very over charged as the pyramids were very close, Sayed spoke to the driver of the taxi, instead of going to the pyramids we were taken to an art shop where you get pressured into buying the art (I did not, buy and swiftly left). We then got back in the taxi and was taken to a very dodgy tour place, avoid at all costs! They charge you very high amounts for a tour of the pyramids, do not fall for it!, you can’t easily access the pyramids from the entrance of the pyramids for 200 Egyptian pounds. In short the hotel is nice and the view is very nice, but do not book a tour through the hotel.
