Welcome to the Maui Kai Resort. This private DIRECT OCEANFRONT ground floor condo, is perfect for a romantic couple s getaway or a family vacation! You can snorkel, swim, and relax all right here! Maui Kai is adjacent to Honoapiilani Beach Park where you can access the Kaanapali Beach boardwalk! NO PARKING OR RESORT FEES AT MAUI KAI! Centrally located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua you will find shopping, dining, several beaches for your favorite water activities and world class golfing! You will find that your within walking distance to several take-out eateries and restaurant's, a grocery store, Farmers Market (local produce & organic foods) and a local Fish Market (Fresh Fish & Great food). Tucked away off of the main road, you will find this hidden gem! Maui Kai is a smaller complex and from your private lanai, you will have front row seats for viewing the Hawaiian sea turtles, whale watching (Mid December - Mid April), spectacular sunsets, and the sweeping views of neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai. This 647 sq. ft. fully furnished one bedroom condo has been upgraded with ceramic tile flooring throughout, a remodeled kitchen and bathroom, along with a screened in lanai for year-round indoor-outdoor living. Sleeping arrangements include a CAL-KING size bed in the bedroom (Bedroom set & Mattress replaced May 19, 2023) and a sofa sleeper (Replaced in July 2023) in the living room. Other features include CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, 2 flat screen tv s, basic cable, and Wifi. Resort amenities include: Onsite coin-operated washer and dryer facilities, a pool, spa, barbeque grills and club house. Located on the right side of the property, you will find a side gate that will allow you access to the Kaanapali boardwalk and beach! We enjoyed the Maui Kai overall and have stayed in this ground floor unit before with very positive experiences. This time we ran into frustrating issues with the AC leaking through the bathroom fan. We reported it right away to the emergency contacts when we noticed the water all over the floor. It took a couple of days to hear back from property management. Unfortunately the issue wasn’t resolved, we went without AC for 3-4 days. The dripping never stopped and would get us wet whenever we had to use the toilet. Then the ceiling tiles became heavily saturated and crashed down while we were sleeping. We did our best to clean up the mess it made and proceeded to check out. This makes us hesitant to stay in this particular unit again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Sitting on the Lanai and listening to the pounding waves was amazing. It’s close to everything including the boardwalk down to Dukes and beyond.The bed was very comfortable however the pillows were meh so went to Costco and bought our own.Bree , our contact person, was amazing and alway responded in a timely manner .The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating overall is because the bathroom ceiling is in dire need of new tiles! Every time we went in we feared it would cave in on us! I’m surprised that it hasn’t been fixed because it would not be that expensive to swap out the tile ceilings.Overall a lovely experience.

One of the best ocean views on Maui We’ve stayed at the property several times and love being just feet back from the ocean. This particular accommodation is great. Bed is comfortable and room has most if not all what you’d expect. It’s our first time staying on the ground floor at this property. Some reviewers commented on the mirrors but the space is very nice and comfortable!

Great location and views Great location and views. Easy in and out with checkin. Only compliant I have is the cleanliness could be greatly improved. Overall great place to stay, just needs some tlc

Maui get away Maui has always been a great island to visit. Since our first visit in 1974. Our accommodations at the Maui Kai were great!

Right on the ocean! This was a beautiful condo located as close to the water as you can get! We woke up each morning to the sound of the ocean and the whales jumping, diving and flapping their fins playfully. Bring binoculars as they are a ways out, but you can still see them. Would strongly recommend a whale watching trip. The condo was clean, roomy and well equipped.

Decent This is a nice property. The location is excellent. The screened in lanai is perfect: we saw whales and turtles. It was clean. It is smaller than it appears in the pictures. The mattresses on both beds are desperately in need of replacement: one can feel each spring on the sofa bed mattress.
