Apartments Duje

How amazing. The location is great. It is just the end of the season, but that's what makes it better. Peace and quiet was what we were after, and that's what we got. 20 mins by bus to Omis and 35 to Split the bus service is second to none always on time, and the drivers are so helpful if you're unsure of which stop you need to get off. Now, the apartment was immaculate with plenty of clean towels. Lidija is an amazing host, so friendly and helpful, giving you local information and had some beer orange juice and water in the fridge when we arrived and delivered delicious strudel that she had made that day and fresh water melon grown by her friend, what a treat. If you're looking for a relaxed chilled break, then look no further. We still have a couple of days left and will enjoy every last sunset from our balcony.

What can I Say about this location and host other than it was amazing. The location is beautiful and clean. Right on a harbour and a stones throw from the beach. The host Lydia was brilliant she checked us in early as we arrived a few hours early. She explained how everything worked where we could get the bus and book things and even shared some home made cake. She also popped some bits in the fridge for us which considering this is a room only booking was just brilliant. We will definitely go back and we will stay there again. Thank you Lydia for an amazing week xx

Absolutely beautiful. The lady who owns the apartments was very accommodating, kind and caring. Quiet area which was needed before heading to Split. The view of the harbour from the apartment balcony is stunning. Beach 1 min from the apartment, local shop with everything you need and a beach restaurant near by. Really a lovely little find and we will definitely be returning!!

Our 2nd visit. This time we used apartment 1 overlooking the harbour. Very comfortable bed. Everything we needed for a wedding anniversary trip. Hired a car so we could drive further along the coast although the bus no 60 is very frequent and runs from Split to Omis stopping minutes from the apartments. Just be aware that you need cash as not many placed take contact less payments. Excellent mini supermarket opposite although it doesn't gave a cash machine. Does great takeaway coffee. Lidija is an excellent host and even brought us fresh strudel and cooked fish. Beach just seconds away.

This was our first trip to Croatia and it really is a lovely place. Sempetar is very quiet, with only two restaurants and bars. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a lively holiday, then this location is not for you. It met all our expectations of a very very relaxed and chilled holiday. The beach is made of shingle, but an absolutely lovely bay to have a swim and sunbathe. It was not crowded in any way, but maybe that this is just before the holiday season starts....I'm not sure. The accommodation was very clean, very well presented and comes fully equipped will all the essentials of an appartment, including a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Our room overlooked the harbour and had a very large terrace to relax on. We couldn't have chosen a better location as the Supermarket, gift shop, bus stops are within very easy walking distance, literally just across the road. The local town of Omis is only a short bus ride away costing 4 euros each. This is a very picturesque town with beautiful mountains surrounding it. It certainly is worth a mooch round. Lots of restaurants/cafe's and bars to choose from but doesn't lose its beauty to being over commercialised. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already looking to go back for another break in September. This time we will hire a car to explore further afield. I would like to finish this review by saying that our hostess Lidija was so welcoming and could not do enough for us to make our stay more welcoming. What a lovely place. The appartment is situated overlookingthe harbour and sea. We were in Room 3. Lovely spacious appartment with beautiful view of the mountain. The appartment had everything you needed, a nice balcony and was clean. The shower was amazing and the bed so comfy. Slept so well every night we were there! Supermarket just across the road with everything you need. The restaurant and beach bar so close snd msny others if you walk towards Dugi Rat. Lidjia was amazing. So incredibly friendly and welcoming. Orange, water and beer on arrival in the fridge for us when we arrived. She kindly brought us up some beach towels when we asked. We got back ome day to a lovely cheese and meat platter with olives and tomatoes too. On the way back her son's friend took us to the airport. She was so lovely too . Such a great stay. We loved it. Great days out to Split and Omis, beach and nice tours to do too in area. Bus service good. Every 20 mins to 30. Definitely will be back again. We loved it. Thank you Lidjia.
