Jeonju Nadeul Room Pension

Our experience at Nadeulbang Hanok stay wasn't the best tbh. This might have been impacted by booking through Emirates Skywards rewards program as we didn't receive any communication on the check in process. So when we arrived no one was around and the restaurant next door was closed. We didn't know how to check in or enter our room. Luckily enough there were some people in the business across the road who phoned the owners for us but we still had to wait for 1hr before they arrived. The older lady that let us into our room didn't speak a word of English so it was a bit hard communicating and we didn't really get any further information apart from the key. Once we had put down our luggage and had a look around the room we noticed there weren't any towels provided in the room (luckily the washing machine outside just finished and it was full of towels so we just grabbed some from there) and we were surprised by the futon that was provided. It was so thin I don't think you can call it a futon really, more a blanket. This made our sleep pretty uncomfortable and actually hurt our backs. The only real positive about this place was the location. It is right in the middle of the Jeonju Hanok Village and everything that you need to do and see in this city is literally within walking distance. The building itself from the outside is really pretty too but this doesn't really show on the inside. It was also pretty cheap. All in all we wouldn't recommend staying here and look for a different hanok stay in the area, there's literally so many you'll definitely find a better one.
