Island Vibe Jeffreys Bay

First of all the positives: there is great and friendly staff, everything is well organized and practical that you can also book activities with the hostel such as a surf lesson with their own guide. Also nice that there is a bar where you can order food and drinks. Most of all, very practical that the location is next to the beach which is great to go surfing. What could be improved is the comfort of the room. There was no slatted bed base in the bed, just a wooden plank that the mattress rested on. The windows also don't fully close so the noise from the neighbours who were sitting outside late at night came through.

Very nice Set- Up they have with a nice entertainment and bar area with bonfires going and awesome view of the ocean in the background.

This is the kind of place you want to extend your stay. Landed up here for 2 weeks and had the most amazing time. Stunning location right on the beach with the most amazing, welcoming, and friendly staff, awesome bar and always a vibe. Excellent place to surf for any level and often fun activities going on like waterfall trips, sandboarding, braai, etc. Great, clean accommodation, good food at the bar and a lovely kitchen that feels like you're cooking right on the beach

I stayed here for 2 weeks back in October. It was really nice. The employees are really friendly, they take good care of you, they make sure there is always something to do. I wanted to do a day trip during my stay and they fixed everything for me. It was a lot of fun and made many friends during my stay. Highly recommend to stay here when you're going to South Africa!

My friend and I stayed in a private room with en suite. Basic, but has everything needed (apart from a mirror). Comfortable beds. Lovely and friendly staff!

Stayed in a private room with a stunning view. The room itself was spacious and we did have a good night's sleep, but it was a bit tired, and could have been a bit cleaner. The staff were great though.
