As a regular guest of Barcelo group hotels I am used to nice greetings, cordiality and help from the staff. However, in this hotel I have encountered many very unpleasant incidents. Right from the start, instead of two rooms booked for a group of 4 adults and a child, we receive one family room. the staff laughs that it's an upgrade for us. so instead of a 2-person room with a sea view we have a room with 3 baby cots. Every attempt to explain the matter is met with a long wait in line to get another absurd answer (e.g. that it's for our comfort so that the family is together, but how did the hotel know when I paid for two rooms that we would be a family), we are treated in an unpleasant way, we are the object of sarcasm and unpleasant gestures, they refused to issue me an invoice for the rooms, showing it to the people standing next to me as if I was confused, the unpleasant receptionist consults everything with another person he calls "my boss", we were told to wait to talk to the manager, who turned out to be... the very unpleasant man who made strange gestures towards us earlier. finally we get the room I paid for and... it turns out that while all this lasted, the room they gave us earlier was closed together with our things and we don't have access to them. the hotel is terribly crowded, no space by the pools, very long queues in the restaurant and bars. cockroaches running around in the snack bar were already visible at the beginning. you can see the shortage of staff. the restaurant is full of empty places where there were supposed to be dishes or simply not cleaned. i will add that it was the holiday season which in my opinion completely overwhelmed the people managing the hotel. the hotel has a nice view, located on the top. the rooms are clean although they could do with a refresh. in the rooms you can hear every sound from the neighboring rooms. the biggest advantages of the hotel are the swimming pool with heated water and the aqua park. the food is tasty, but as I wrote earlier, after waiting in a long queue, you often only see empty plates and bowls. Another unpleasant incident happened to me in a restaurant. I was not allowed to have dinner in elegant shorts and shoes and a shirt, even though no one had informed me about such rules beforehand, but people in tracksuits and sneakers were allowed in (a strange sense of taste and elegance). Another incident was the scattering of invisible needles from Christmas trees on the stairs between the reception and the restaurant, my girlfriend slipped and fell down, she was very bruised. As for the service, I have terribly mixed feelings.. very nice bartenders or smiling cleaning ladies and on the other hand, the Hamish gentlemen at the reception or waiters who do not even have a smile on their faces. I have been 4 times in the neighboring hotel of the same brand and I can say that it surpasses this hotel in every respect. I travel a lot and if I had to advise I would suggest avoiding this h
