We usually prefer IHCL properties and their services, but our experience at Ginger Hotel in Jamshedpur was the worst. When we arrived, the front office team showed no professionalism or courtesy—there wasn’t even a single smile on their faces. The room they provided was extremely untidy, and the air conditioning wasn’t working. Additionally, when I placed an order from outside and requested to give it to my room, female staff member from the front office told me to collect it from the lobby instead.but I know they do send it to the room , have done before, but this time they just refused by saying we are lack of staff If that’s the level of service they offer, it’s highly disappointing. I understand that Ginger is a budget-friendly hotel, and some compromises are expected, but this level of service is unacceptable. I would rate the front office team 0/5. However, the food and beverage team provided good service. Ginger Jamshedpur needs to improve its standards, as it carries the prestigious IHCL brand name and should uphold its reputation accordingly.
