Villa Bluu at the Beach

Dopo aver prenotato un soggiorno di 4 notti con quasi 3 mesi di anticipo direttamente sul loro sito web ed aver ricevuto conferma via mail (con tanto di numero di prenotazione), arriviamo alla Villa per sentirci dire in modo molto maleducato ed aggressivo dalla manager al telefono che la prenotazione non risulta, che avrebbero comunque una stanza ma solamente per le prime due notti in quanto la villa era completamente prenotata dal terzo giorno in avanti. Dopo aver preteso la sua presenza per parlarne di persona e trovare una soluzione, la cosa non è affatto migliorata. La giovane signorina in modi tutt’altro che amichevoli ha ribadito che il problema poteva essere legato al loro sistema di prenotazione che aveva sì mandato la mail di conferma, ma a loro non risultava e comunque non sembrava affatto turbata o dispiaciuta della cosa. Dopo aver fatto notare che un numero di conferma non è un qualcosa di casuale, ma avrebbe potuto e dovuto indagare più a fondo, si è degnata ma controvoglia di andare a verificare, senza però scusarsi, ammettere il torto e/o offrirci una qualsivoglia sistemazione alternativa per i gg seguenti. La gentilezza è la chiave dell’accoglienza, voi chiaramente non l’avete avuta e pertanto ce ne siamo andati immediatamente. Indovina un po’: dopo 2 ore riceviamo una mail dal loro sistema che ci informa che la prenotazione è stata cancellata (!) Se questo è il modo di gestire il business dell’hospitality proprio non ci siamo.

this an excelent spot, that is calm, clean and the service is amazing. i came here for a couple of days seeking some solitude and i was very well received. i couldn't get enough of the view. shout to Sahumu & Regine for their special care. there are other hotels nearby so you can calk on the beach and visit.

We have spent 4 nights at Villa Blue: everything was perfect, the Villa is very nice, only 4 rooms so very quiet. All the people running this establishment are so nice, always smiling and happy to see you (thanks to Humphrey for his daily joy and Regina for her kindness and attention to make our stay perfect!!). The breakfast is very good, the room is very clean, confortable and you have a beautiful view all day long. We also had dinner and lunch: the food is very good and fresh. We also came back a second time for 2 nights after a terrible night spent at The Baladin Hotel (don’t go there; don’t trust the reviews, it’s a total scam!). Hopefully Regina had a room available for us!! We were so happy to be welcomed by the Villa Bluu again: they made our 2nd stay with them so perfect :) Thanks for everything!

We stayed two nights with my boyfriend and I think it is the best view in Zanzibar, we enjoyed the care of Hamfrey and Regina and the place is the best for relaxing. Everything is clean, stylish. We will definitely come back.

We had a lovely time at Villa Bluu. The place is perfect for a relaxing time, watching the tides coming back and forth 🌊🌅 Wa actually went there two times after having a disastrous experience in another hotel and they welcomed us back with a feeling of being home ☺️ The hotel is very well equipped with a large pool, snooker and very big rooms with a balcony to watch the sunrise and good equipments (Bluetooth speaker, hair drier, safe,…)👌 You can drink and eat there and the chef is very good to turn traditional meal into savorous meals 😋 All the people working there are very dedicated but special thanks to Regina and Humphrey for all the attentions to make our stay perfect☺️ To sum up, a perfect place to chill and rest while being at a walking distance to discover Jambiani

Honestly, Villa Bluu is a gem. I absolutely loved it! The location & views are amazing. The food so fresh and tasteful. The staff unbelievable kind, happy and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at the Villa Bluu. We are for sure coming back! Thank you Team Villa Bluu for making my holidays, relaxing, yummy and fun! Keep going and see you next time.
