The Kafila Desert Camp

Based on the reviews, we booked this Camp. We reached little early than the check-in time but Shri Madav Singh at reception was most helpful and accommodative. We traveled by road from Jodhpur nonstop and were hungry. Though they don't have a running kitchen, our lunch order was promptly taken and served. It was delicious and absolutely freshly prepared. The camel ride followed by sunset at the dunes with proper seating arrangement and serving of refreshments was a delight. Shri Deva Ram took good care of us throughout. The evening function was good with good amount of snacks and the dinner spread was fantastic. The food was all fresh and tasty. The tent was spacious with all the requisite amenities. The staff is very friendly and warm. Highly recommended.

It has a good location, responsive tent service, a clean and comfortable room, and fast checkout. It was an excellent stay. Located slightly further away from the city center and therefore offers quiet surroundings for good rest. The tent design is contemporary and I like it a lot.

Jeep safari, Camel safari Excellent Ambiance & Service The experience was out of the world. They believe in quality service and it was way beyond our expectations.

Ten friends from a two families, stayed at Camp Kafila and we had such a wonderful experience during the stay. Mool Singh, Madhav Singh, Dev and other staff took great care of us. They were respectful, friendly, helpful and took care an every needs. From the Jeep ride (Thanks Dave!) to the camel ride to dune, seating and tea at the dune was excellent. Traditional music and dance was exceptional. They served dinner and breakfast which was delicious ( best breakfast that we had during our weeklong Rajasthan tour which was made to order!). Tents were pretty and comfortable. Thanks to all of you for your hospitality including a parting gift to our kids!!

We went as a family group of 13 to the Kafila Desert Camp in mid December 2024. We loved our stay here. Starting from the welcoming Dhol players through to the staff that could not do enough for us, we really appreciated the attention the staff gave us. A special mention to Madaf who was very attentive to all our needs. The food at the Kafila was some of the best we have had. The breakfast options were good and the dinner with a range of different curries and fresh roti and rotla was delightful. The accommodation is basic however, this is a desert camp and it is very much in the glamping category with great beds, private bathrooms, hot water and electric lighting. The tents even have AC for hot summer days and oil filled radiators for cooler nights. I would not hesitate to recommend the Kafila resort.
