Zostel Jaipur

Four of us booked a 4-bed dorm. Had a flawless experience all the way from booking/follow-up until check-out. Seamless booking, experience, lovely food and ambience is unlike any you've ever had. Easy to recommend 5/5

Place is alright, it has seen better days. Could definitely do with a fresh coat of paint. We shared a room with 4 other girls and it was fun to get to know people from different parts of the country. Places like zostel are mainly for the budget conscious, we were hardly there except to sleep in the night the rest of the days we were there was mainly for exploring the places and seeing the sights in Jaipur.

C’est la première fois que je tombe sur une auberge de jeunesse aussi médiocre et mal entretenue… Cuisine vraiment sale, micro onde dans un état déplorable ( on leur a demandé si ils pouvaient faire quelque chose mais rien…) Les douches et toilettes sentent l’urine et ne sont pas propre. Les Clim fuient partout dans les chambres ( back pack trempée au départ ce matin car encore une fuite ) Un menu rempli de bonnes choses… mais .. rien n’est disponible.. un pancake aux fruits ? Non pas disponible… Personnel fait juste acte de présence et ne se dérange pas pour rentre dans la chambre à 5 h du matin en allumant toute les lumières pour demander si qq1 a vu l’unique télécommande de toutes les clim… à fuir si cela ne s’arrange pas …

Zostel is basically a Hostel+Hotel, but don’t compare it with the hostels in abroad.. Every hostel according to the respective place has different vibe.. Jaipur hostel is decent experience… Very budget friendly and located in the hearth of the city, but don’t expect a 2 or 3 star hotel experience out of it. Hawa Male, City palace are hardly on 5 Min walking distance. Albert Hall museum is 7/8 Min with Auto or bike. Amer or Amber Fort, Nahargarh, Jaigarh Fort are also within the range of 10 to 15 Km only. Main Market of Jaipur is just beside zostel So location of this place is outstanding, you will save lot of money on travel. Pros - Location Budget Friendly Decent clean and good stay Common area and smoking area are lively You can meet young people and people from different places background etc.. Cons - Not so professional attitude at reception Not a relaxing experience Food and service is okay okay If you are habituated of Hotel experience then its not a place for you No view from room Aesthetics of room and overall place is okay, not so great So, if you are backpacker kind of traveller, then its a good budget friendly place for you.. if you are a hotel type of traveller you can adjust here no issues.. But if you are on a trip to relax.. then its not a place for you.. *** During all the three days… I still don’t know who is on reception? How is for room service or who actually manages the place.. I will suggest Zostel Jaipur to be slightly welcoming on that front.. *** There is rental bike service (not managed by Zostel but posted on the hostel wall).. Bike is a very cool option for Amer, Nahargarh, Jaigarh fort, also for the city exploration.. BUT PLZ MAKE SURE THE QUALITY OF BIKE… These are unmaintained bikes, though his service is good, he hopes you but it is not so easy experience..

I had been to all Zostels in Rajasthan and been in Jaipur for a day only here I met a fab girl as community manager Surabhi who made all the difference during my stay she quickly walked up to me to check howz my experience and after knowing I am on solo trip she offered a bike ride plan as I was on bike and evening party, we both went for crazy bike ride and had visited Amer fort , Nahargarh and unknown but fab sun set place in Dera Amer, it was followed by further city drive local dishes and partying with other Zostelers at Townsend and Chimney. This girl is really a fab company who made my Sunday really beautiful. Also I can’t thank much to Taufiq and Shubhangi to ensure I have place to stay as most of the hostels were running full….. I stayed little over than I actually planned for. I appreciate that the team here can actually create an experience with in such a short time, I had to leave really early so couldn’t stay here further. Highly recommend this Hostel for a comfortable and yet rocking place to stay if you are in Jaipur

We enjoyed our stay a lot thanks to Surbhi for involving us in various activities, she is a gem ＜3 It was fun overall. Me and my friends has an amazing time. And the location of the place is really good.
