Devi Niketan - A Wandertrails Stay

Devi Niketan is a family owned and operated Heritage Hotel in central Jaipur. A double storied heritage house, it is part of the 140 acre estate of the former ruling family of Chomu. The property has plenty of secure parking space with lush green lawns and a swimming pool, which gives a feeling of space and tranquility - even though it is surrounded by a bustling city there peace and quiet within the property . The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly. The hosts are always available for assistance and guidance. Buffet breakfast is sumptuous with a wide variety to choose from, which includes, fruit, serial, eggs to order etc. There is no A la Carte Restaurant, but dinner can be catered for if ordered early. It is in a "Happening" neighbourhood with plenty of eating places, Ayurvedic massage parlours, shopping malls with food courts and movie theaters, banks & ATMs, gyms - all within one kilometer. Several sight seeing spots are also reasonably close Our stay was very comfortable, Devi Niketan is like a home away from home as the common areas have a lot of the family Memorabilia and History. Recommended for couples, families or even Reunions.

It was when we dialed the number for Devi Niketan from the website, that our experience of planning our trip to Jaipur reached a very different level! The call was personally attended by Admiral Madhvendra Singh (Retd), a scion of the Royal Family of Chomu. He curated our stay in the warmest and most engaging manner possible. He gave us detailed information about local sightseeing, airport transfer, and transportation, which proved invaluable since we were visiting Jaipur for the first time. The check-in was seamless, the staff was extremely warm and hospitable. The rooms here are well-appointed and have an unbeatable heritage charm. The cleanliness is impeccable. The common areas are steeped in history - both local and Naval. We were pampered with delicious and sumptuous food, served with a personal touch! We got lots of useful advice and assistance on sightseeing, eating out, and shopping, from the entire team. We stayed here for six days and came back pining for more! This is definitely the 'To-Be' place whenever we visit Jaipur in the future! My wife and I stayed in this beautiful heritage hotel , Devi Niketan from 07 Dec2021 to 11 Dec 2021. Very rarely you get to enjoy hospitality so royal with personal touch from Admiral Madhvendra Singh & his stately wife. The food was superb, personally crafted & supervised by the owners. Quiet little place in heart of the town with all the facilities offa five star hotel. one could go at an easy pace and the staff willingly went ***** to ensure that our needs were met and more. There is royal touch with the kind of history that the place and the family has. My wife and I were overjoyed to have a photograph taken in typical Rajasthani Turban. I adorned the Panchranga turban , which was originally Admirals family colours I believe. A beautiful bon Fire dinner was organised with all the strappings of comfort. I would stay in Devi Niketan in all my future trips to Jaipur. A big than you to the Admiral and his staff for making our stay a memorable one

We stayed there in the middle of the third wave of the pandemic. The hotel was very clean and the safety matters taken towards the pandemic situation was impressive! The staff was very courteous & eager to help at anytime. The delicious authentic food they served at this place was mouth watering! I wished I could learn how to make them. The hotel is situated close to tourist attraction, whether it were for sight seeing or shopping! This hotel is affordable, clean & comfortable. There is a huge pool to cool down after a long sight seeing day. There is also a beautiful lawn to relax and unwind where ever you feel like it! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!! I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit Jaipur!
