Lovely place, beautiful rooms, close to town. Really enjoyed our stay.

They should tell people before they book. They can’t have people visit them in their room Also they need bigger portions for bigger people. For. Breakfast options.

I think this hotel is great. It’s not beachfront but it’s probably like a 7 minute walk! The staff is really nice, and their food is surprisingly great! My favorite part is how it’s pet friendly! It is a very family friendly, and it has a very nice pool.

La habitación que nis tocó era muy chica, el desayuno pobre y escaso (no es buffet) y no queda nada cerca del centro (donde están restaurantes). El servicio de comida no es muy buena y es caro. Limpio, personal menos gentil qye en el resto de Costa Rica.

My daughter and I had a small but nice room that overlooked a little jungle area. Some may think the pool view would have been better, we would disagree. The hotel was nice and clean and the hotel food and breakfast was very good and convenient. The hotel was very close to the main drag, but my daughter and I felt a little unsafe in the area and chose to get back to our hotel by 6:00 pm the two nights we were there. After a long day of ATV riding, we were hoping the jacuzzi would have been warm but it wasn't, at least it was refreshing for a bit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice to have a little market next door for little items. Would recommend staying here.

Location is perfect. Next door is a mini market and a restaurant. Walking distance to the busy street. There is Uber available from airport San Jose to Jaco. This place is clean, the customer service great, the food is good. Oh and for the price you pay you get several good options for breakfast, no cold continental breakfast. This place is small but very cute and I would definitely stay here again. I had the 1 bedroom with sofa couch it has 2 balconies. The only negative I would say is they charged me for the room key $10. If you don’t leave the room keys or the towel keys you will be charged.

Mae arrived to an Airbnb in an unusually hot week. My young kids (11 & 7) and pregnant wife were pretty exhausted. The Airbnb was rough and we opted to emergency find a new spot. We were recommended Oceano and I’m so glad we gave it a try. Just the right amount of fancy while still providing an authentic experience. The staff were all extremely friendly. My kids loved the included breakfasts and the pool. The walk to the beach and restaurants weren’t bad. We extended our, “just one night” to the entire trip. 10/10 would recommend if you have a budget but still want something on the nicer side.

The hotel and Staff, excepting the bookkeeping/ management. were great. My complaint is the hotels cancellation of reservations for 4 rooms for 10 days were made on July 12, 2024 through Expedia/AARP. First day payment for the rooms was credited that day. Final payment was scheduled for check in on February 10. On February 9, the hotel cancelled the reservation for nonpayment, 24 hours before we could check in. They said all payments would be refunded. No reason was given for cancellation for nonpayment before the payment was due or why they had money to refund. Communications was extremely poor. I got different stories from 3 people. I was finally told they would hold 4 rooms. They said they would call or email, then I got a WhatsApp message (Luckly I have WhatsApp on my phone) that a colleague was wrong and they would cancel if we were not there by 3 pm, this was after I had offered many times during our conversations to pay the entire amount over the phone and was told it was not necessary. Good news was they had 4 rooms when we got there. The manager's response to the early without notification cancellation was indifference. Her response was if they owed us any money it would be refunded. Np apology or concern that the anxiety of not having rooms for 7 people for 10 days ruined 2 days of my vacation.

Close to the beach, great breakfast was included in our stay, delicious soda next door for lunch. Pool area was very nice and never tooooo crowded. Room was nice. Drinks (even coffees) at the cafe were very expensive for CR and pool area didn't get a lot of natural light if you want to tan. Would still strongly recommend
