Awesome as always

The front desk service was awesome! The house keeping Supervisior was a little grumpy when we told her that we had need a couch switch because when we pulled the couch out to sleep on it the mattress was solid with some that looks like to be old blood and the couch never got switch our entires stay. This made the room felt so gross. I ask to speak with the manager to get a room change since we could not get a couch change and that was denied as well! So I demand and refund and that was denied too!!!! I will not recommend no one to stay at this place because this experience was far by the worst ever. The part that I am so mad about is no one try to make any of the errors right. This is not the way I remember the Marriott to be !

I am a Marriott member. Whenever I travel I look for the brand because it is generally a safe choice. However, Mariotts should be ashamed to have its name on this property--- it is the type of hotel that you will find on Skid Row and that is nice. There were bodily fluid stains on the sofa bed, the curtains were torn and ragged. The mattress that staff said was new appeared to have urine stains, and the stove, was black with grease running everywhere. You couldn't use the refrigerator. The sheets that covered the bed were stained and the room smelled. There was a huge stain on the bathtub, it was awful. I looked at four rooms and all were horrible. This place is a health hazard. I was told that the staff is working to make corrections--but why rent the rooms out in that condition? I challenge staff to dispute my account--I have pictures. Don't believe that this is a 1.2.3. or 4-star hotel it is neither. Not sure how anyone can claim that had fun, this hotel caters to dogs but if I were a dog owner, I would not want my pet on the floor at the hotel. they are not catering to humans.

Our reservation was originally for 4 nights. The day of our arrival I kept in touch with the hotel via the app messenger with our arrival time. We ended up being very late and didn't arrive until 2:30AM. Upon arrival, we checked into the room and brought our stuff up to the room. We were traveling with 3 year old toddlers who were very cranky and needed baths. I went to draw a bath and the tub was absolutely disgusting. It was cracking and peeling and very grimy and moldy! I went back down to the desk and informed them and they changed our room. AGAIN, the bathtub was disgusting. Third time changing rooms, bathroom was still horrible but not as bad and it was approaching 4AM so we stayed put. I pulled out the oull out couch and it was so unsanitary! It has blood stains and urine stains and completely gross! Went back down to the desk and told them that since it's almost 4AM and kids need to get some kind of sleep we will be staying but will be checking out first thing in the morning. after only a few hours, we checked out. The manager refused to compensate any part of our stay and was very dismissive. We literally were only in the room (after 3 moves!) for a few hours! Completely horrified of this hotel! For a marriott hotel this is disgraceful! We ended up being able to find a nearby IGH hotel to stay at which was A LOT nicer and cleaner. I really hope that our few hour stay with Marriott will be reimbursed. This hotel puts a really bad front for the Marriott name.

We stayed for one night in a king studio. The hotel is definitely older but everything was clean and well maintained. The room was very small but suitable for two people. The TV was unplugged and after plugging it in we couldn’t get the internet tv apps to work. It was also in a strange location to the rest of the room. Breakfast options were limited but sufficient.

I was writing due to question when would the $179 be placed back on my card that was taken off of my card when they was trying to charge me for two bedrooms full price after my room accommodations was unavailable due to circumstances on y’all end. With no notice no explanation or anything. Then I spent a whole hour trying find other residents that could accommodate me and my family. But they was all booked on such short notice. She act as though she didn’t even want to try to contact a manager, who then agreed to give me two regular studio rooms for the price of my original room. Only to have to go back to the front desk three time due to keys not working to one of the rooms. Only to inform me that’s she knew she had problems with that particular room so did I mind moving to another room. Or to another floor once again. Let’s be mindful at this point my 4mth 1yr and 4yr old are crying hungry and diapers need to be changed and sleepy and it is going on a little after 7 and I arrived at 5 because I was told the room wouldn’t be ready until at least 4. And I have to keep dragging back and forth because at this point the rooms that was given couldn’t be assessed. I missed reservations due to time consuming situation on y’all end and no accommodation for almost 2 1/2 hours. On my birthday. Just ruined my birthday on my actual birthday. Some of my extra birthday money I had for spending also was ruined because extra money was spent trying to get a room because she then put it in a supposedly pending that I could no longer access. and reservation to eat canceled. Was extremely exhausted agitated and angry a complete wast of time. Extremely not satisfied and something needs to be done. I will push forward with speaking with higher management if I feel like I’m continually not being heard or sympathized.

Don't frequent TownePlace's often, but they vary in design more than Fairfields, Residences and Courtyards, but its a Marriott. Thats what matters. This is an older property. It has cozy, country atmosphere to it. I arrived and waited at the desk for a couple minutes for a receptionist. Then I heard something in an adjoining room. It was the receptionist, busy with organizing and prepping something. I joked about wearing multiple hats and she agreed. She was very friendly and got me checked in quickly. The room was clean and I got my upgrade for a balcony. The first thong I noticed was the remote for the TV. They are the same in every Marriott, but this one was very basic. No guide, no Bonvoy channel, etc. I'm not one for free breakfast, but we were continuing our trip. So we decided to check it out. It was a continental breakfast in that they didn't have much. Like a snack bar. We got a banana and that was all that peaked our interest. With minimal staff, they really couldn't do much more, but they could have had more variety i.e. pastries, more fruit, something. Good stay, quiet spot.

You can tell they go the extra mile here! VERY impressed. It's the little details! Full size shampoo bottles are a nice touch! I didn't share one extra pic I have of the nice full size desk with ergonomic chair. (Max 10)

Despite a more-than-ample parking lot on the outskirts of a small city, I was charged a $2.13 "parking recapture fee." The desk associate was unable to justify the charge. This is another branch on the "Resort Fee Tree." Uggh. First stay in a TPSuites - also my last.
