This is a great place to get away for peace and quiet! It is also within a few steps to the water!! Great for fishing, kayaking, and a mile to a boat ramp! It is located a half mile to Salt Lick Campgrounds! This is a very old log home rebuilt in 2017. If you like rustic and being in the country this is the cabin for you! The cabin has a breath taking view of water!! You can see animals right from the front porch, such as, deer and lots more!!About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Leave used towels & bedsheets on top of dryer..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Remote getaway
The two bedrooms with full size beds, two bathroom, queen size pull out couch, was perfect for my mother, my two children, my husband and myself! The space heaters worked nicely to keep us warm during the chilly days and nights. The beef cows right next to the cabin serenaded us one night, which was the only drawback! The next day we were able to feed one of the cows as well as the pony that was with them. We recommend an all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive to get up the gravel road to the cabin. This cabin is far from all amenities, so shop prior to arriving! LOL

Perfect secluded lake front cabin!
It is hard to put into words how relaxing our stay at the cabin was for us. If you're looking for a place to do a little fishing, some front porch sitting, and basically just getting away from the stresses of work. This is the place to stay. The host had thought of just about everything you could need and provided it. There is a spot, maybe twenty foot off the driveway, to fish or put in a canoe or kayak. Chairs next to the water for fishing. There is a nice grill on the back porch. Chairs for the fire ring for relaxing next to a fire with provided fire wood. This cabin is exactly what you think of when you think cabin. Lots of repurposed wood throughout makes it feel very rustic and cozy. We just left two days ago, and are already planning our next trip.

Always a wonderful place to stay
Our family always looks forward to spending a few days during spring break at the cabin. It has become a nice family tradition. We love the cabin and the surrounding environment. A great place to stay!

Adorable cozy cabin
We just love this little cabin. This was our second stay there for a few days. Me and my sister have stressful jobs and we go just to get away from it all and get some rest and relaxation. It is so quiet there and cozy and comfortable. It has been immaculately clean both times. We always leave refreshed. I would recommend it to anyone. You have complete privacy too. We'll be back!!
