"good location recommend I think this is the best hotel in the area. It's about a 7-minute walk from Oda Station. The room is spacious, you can see the coastal scenery from the balcony, and the most convenient facility is the salt seawater pool. I put on my swimsuit and got into the pool, and it felt like it would improve my blood circulation, and even though I've had trouble sleeping recently, I slept soundly all night. On my next trip to Shimane Prefecture, I'll be staying here for another night 😄 The attached photos were taken of lunch at the hotel, the train, the nostalgic train, the famous Izumo Taisha Shrine, and Izumo soba."

"◾️Summary Great location, but not having breakfast would have been better. ◾️Conditions ・Stayed on a weekday in February ・One night for one person, total cost about ¥7,100. ◾️Location ・Conveniently located right next to Shimane Station ◾️Service ・No particular complaints about the service. ◾️Amenities ・The amenity bar had everything you'd expect. ・There didn't seem to be any water. ・Drink service was provided at the front desk (including alcohol). ◾️Room: Super Room, non-smoking. ・The room seemed reasonably clean. ・The bunk bed room was the cheapest, so it was unnecessarily large. ・Humidifier provided. ・WiFi worked. ◾️Breakfast [Time] I visited around 8:30 AM on a weekday. [Crowdiness] There were about three other guests. [Taste] Since it's considered a free breakfast, it was quite basic. Rice (Dashi Chazuke) Shijimi Soup Simmered Sukiyaki Grilled Salt-Grilled Mackerel Teriyaki Chicken Tofu Hamburger Dashimaki* Yogurt Aloe Vera Bread The clam soup was the best. Since there weren't many dishes, I thought it would have been better to serve the food on regular plates instead of buffet plates so that it would look more attractive. Personally, I would have preferred the 500 yen discount and the room-only plan. [Service][Atmosphere] No wet towels provided. At the end, you have to separate and return your dishes, just like at school lunches, which I didn't like from a hygienic standpoint. The lack of wet towels makes this all the more noticeable."

"This time, I specifically chose Nipponia Terrace Izumo, which is quite far from JR Izumo Station, mainly because I really wanted to experience this brand of hotel. It certainly didn't disappoint and left me with perfect memories of my trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Upon arrival, they offered hot tea and ginger candy from the local old town, and introduced the environment and facilities. I was surprised to learn that the lobby of this branch offers sake for guests to enjoy at any time. There were about 10-15 bottles of sake, with a variety of sake glasses to choose from, and even equipment for humidifying sake was provided. The room was very clean, with air conditioning, heating, and a humidifier (since I checked in at 8 pm, the hotel had already turned them on before I arrived, which I was very grateful for). The bathroom deserves high praise; it had a spacious dressing area (with heating), a bathtub made of stone and wood, and the bathroom walls were also made of wood. The steam from the shower released a very soothing and relaxing woody aroma. What I absolutely loved was the tea and coffee brewing area in the entryway, which provided guests with coffee beans, a manual grinder, and filters, making me feel right at home. I had a special reservation for dinner one night, and the food was quite delicious, although it was definitely too much for one person. But it was a truly memorable experience of Nipponia's thoughtfulness!"

"My husband and I stayed at Izumo Hotel The Cliff in Izumo City in December 2023. The unique room structure, which seemed to open onto the cliffs facing the Sea of Japan, was very impressive, and we were able to fully experience a sense of the extraordinary. The private sauna also faced the sea, and bathing in the open air while watching the sunset was an especially relaxing experience. As the hotel is located in a quiet area with nothing nearby, we also had dinner at the hotel, and we were amazed by the quality of the food. The food was elegant and carefully seasoned, creating a special moment. The only thing that bothered us was that the lighting in the corridors was a little dim, making it a little difficult to walk. However, overall we were very satisfied as a hotel for adults. There are no activities for children, so it may not be very suitable for families with children, but I think it is the perfect place for adults to relax."

"It’s hard to say what I like most about this place. On one hand, I want to start off by saying how incredible the view is. The placement of these two cottages is energizing. Perhaps more energizing is the staff. They are so kind and thoughtful and add a warm, personal touch. I was honored to have my main point of contact be the wife of the head priest of this incredible temple! And to top it off, I was honored again to meet the head priest himself, Daiko Iizuka. My conversation with him, meeting his wife and daughter, being able to walk around this peaceful property that dates back over 1000 years; the whole experience is something that can’t be replicated and I am still grateful to have experienced it."
