Poseidonia Apartments

Rated as 4* - would rate it as 2* at best. The outside was lovely, gardens and pools well kept. The rooms were very basic, we were all inclusive but if you went self catering the cooking facilities were poor. The food was terrible, at the best warm but usually cold and uncovered so flies seen walking over it. After the first day we were both violently ill and only emerged from our room on the last day. Others there also complained of food poisoning and even those on all inclusive were going out to eat because of the standard of the food. Our worst holiday ever!!!

I will start with the positives The staff are all fantastic and friendly from reception bar staff restaurant and cleaning. The hotel and pool are was spotless. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard. Negative Food was very repetitive on all inclusive and was always cold no matter what time you went in to the restaurant not much choice either mainly caters for European guests. The snack bar was a joke food was put in around 11.30 am and not replaced all day even though staff will tell you different most of the food in the snack bar was from breakfast as well this food was also stone cold The rooms don't have enough plug sockets. No kettle in the room you have to request one. We had a 2 bedroom apt and on arrival we went into the room which was advertised as having a sofa bed in the lounge it doesn't and was quite small as well I did complain and was advised that a sofa bed was in the twin bedroom there was 2 single beds so when we went back to the room one of the beds had been put as a sofabed. The lounge/kitchen area was tiny with only a sink fridge and 2 rings to cook and not much room for a family to sit the bedrooms were quite big so poorly designed rooms. Pool was very cold and entertainment was a bit rubbish of a night.

The hotel is dated but clean and comfortable. Very spacious room for me and my daughter. The pool is the coldest pool I’ve ever been in. Not a lot to do in the area really. No good entertainment either in the hotel. Very disappointing. We paid for all inclusive. Well where do I start. Breakfast nice, lunch acceptable. Snack bar is grim. Food put out at 10.30am and it doesn’t get replaced all day. Cold chip cold nuggets. All the food has been there all day long in a type of heating cabinet. Ice cream melting. Not replaced. If you want anything fresh you have to pay for it. We get 25% off. But we are all inclusive.. first day I was told sorry this food is for you! Unless you pay! First night for dinner was ok I suppose.. 2nd & 3rd night we looked and walked straight out. It was grim. All cold food. I booked here with tui. Went for it was I read lots of reviews and no complaints about the food. I’m not a picky eater and will try anything but even I couldn’t face it. Just all cold. So off we went to a near by restaurant again. I know it’s not 5 star but expect it to be hot. Pool area is nice. But no music all day. No atmosphere at all. I’m so disappointed.. it is what it is. We are having a lovely time still. Go bed & breakfast if your planning on coming here

Stayed at Poseidonia for 10 night s had 3 apartment s 305 424 426.had a brilliant holiday here . went all inclusive 1st time great choice s and lots of food and 🍻 🍷 maybe not always to our liking but lots of places nearby.in a quiet area.great big apartment s but 305missing a little sofa ..lovely beds and fab air conditioning.BUT STAFF GETS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!from the min we arrived at reception the lovely welcome with a smile..big shout out to all the bar staff 🎖️🎖️💯 restaurant staff ..reception staff and the lovely housekeeping lady doin 3rd floor just made our holiday just so friendly and helpful and smiling 10/10 THANKS GUYS FOR OUR LOVELY HOLIDAY 🤗👋❤️

Payed 80 euro extra for seaview, got top floor, amazing view. Nice reception staff, clean room. Ok pool bar, conveniant with 2 pools, one for kids and one for adults. Close to the beach and restaurants although its a small area. One of the restaurant staff had some attitude issues but all in all a good stay.

In the hotel, we liked everything. Beautiful views from the rooms, a good pool. The staff is 10 out of 10, the pool is cool, the staff at the bar is cool, we had a small problem and we contacted Loakas, the head of the restaurant, and he solved our problem in a friendly and professional manner, I recommend the Posseidonia hotel, you will not be deceived.
