Atlantica Princess Hotel

I took my whole family on holiday to this hotel, 7 of us in total. To start off with a positive, the staff are fantastic, so helpful, pleasant and hard working, I couldn’t fault them. We all found the food fantastic too, but there unfortunately the positives end. Room dated and very shabby, meant to be a twin room, table and chairs shoved into a corner to make room for a put up camp bed with what looked like an army blanket for my adult daughter. This left barely any room to get onto balcony which was so narrow and drab it was ridiculous Corridors dated and again, shabby with a tiny lift that looked like it belonged in the 70’s. The pool itself was beautiful however here begins the daily nightmare…set your alarm because there is a morning marathon to try to get a sunbed. Queues of people waiting for the whistle at 8am, who actually run to secure a bed. I was pushed out of the way more than once. They then wander off after putting their towels down and don’t return for hours. The hotel doesn’t police this at all. As a group of 7 you have no chance at all of getting beds together if you’re not up and out at the pool by 7.30am. Pool very crowded all day, made worse by large areas being cordoned off several times a day for water polo etc. The kids club was a tiny room with a miserable looking rep sitting on her phone while the kids draw. The soft play room for the little ones was full of stored furniture and wasn’t useable. We did mention this at reception but nothing was done. I’d never return here.

We loved our stay in the annex at Atlantica Princess Hotel - the staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the arrival snack bar for late arrivals was a lovely touch. The annex was very spacious, and was across the road from the main ground of the hotel which felt like a nice separation but also still close enough to access everything. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice hotel - we stayed for bed and breakfast and great selection of food. Very close to beach lovely staff would go back again
