Lumina Boutique Hotel

not good value for the price all rooms had the same key! the hotel is in a good location with walking distance from the grand bazar, public transit and a few bridges however the back streets are not friendly in night time. the front street is a main road and there is no noise isolation so you hear everything going on day and night, across the main road there is a mosque and the call for prayer in the middle of the night is very laud. we had a queen bed and a twin bed in the room but only one blanket that was dirty. we asked for it to be replace and for them to give us another one, the new ones were clean but very rough. the sheets were not very clean and when I asked for another one they were unable to provide it. water pressure in the shower was ok but sometime we ran out of hot water. I was expecting more this is priced like a hotel but feels like a youth hostel. the roof terrace is nice but the view to the water is now a worksite.

The thing is that the staff said this hotel was full and they were going to take me to another hotel nearby, we were arriving at midnight and the surroundings were very odd, specially for the second property. I think they would have to inform in advance so that you don’t think they are going to kidnap you or something… or simply don’t accept check in at those hours

Son derece temiz ve kaliteli konumu harika personel aynı şekilde rahatsız edici herhangibi bir ses bir davranış söz konusu olmadı böyle saklı cennetler varmış istanbulda konumunda söz etmiştim bu konumda bu kadar konforlu ve ucuz bir otel beklemiyorum

Eşimle bu otele hayran kaldık merkezi konumu harika , ilgi ve alaka o kadar iyi ki insan evinde gibi hissediyor herşey için teşekkürler tekrar tekrar görüşmek dileği ile kafanızda soru işareti kalmadan uğrayın

Prima di tutto toglierei la scritta "HOTEL :perché nn lo è...scriverei più ostello ma non vorrei offendere la categoria.Non lasciatevi fregare dalle foto non sono realistiche la stanza che abbiamo prenotato sembrava una reggia invece era un buco stretto dove non si poteva nemmeno arrivare al letto con una finestra minuscola che affacciava (x modo di dire)all'interno dell'edificio blatte che entravano dalla zanzariera rotta zanzare che non vi dico che ovviamente abbiamo trovato anche spiaccicate al muro della stanza aria irrespirabile sporchissimo e in una zona di degrado di giorno vendevano cose rubate tipo telefoni...di sera faceva paura anche tornarci la cosa piu bella poi è stata la colazione servita su un terrazzo altrettanto sorco con gabbiani che ti girano intorno cacando ovunque...abbiamo atteso piu di mezz'ora dall'ora prevista per la colazione x ricevere un piattino trasportato dal gestore con pomodoro un pezzeto di formaggio un altra cosa cruda tipo cetriolo una fettina di salsiccia e un po di pane locale niente cappuccino ne una fetta biscottata nulla di dolce ovviamente digiuno totale ...il giorno dopo volevamo dargli una seconda possibilità nn si è proprio presentato è stata un esperienza TERRIBILE!! Non ci andate

The person at the reception desk (Lokman) was very nice. He recommended us some sightseeing places and outside-breakfast places cause we didn’t book the breakfast in the hotel. We really enjoyed our first stay in Istanbul thanks to him. The room looked the same as saw on the pictures when booking. There was a nice terrace on the rooftop.
