The service from staff is generally very poor unwelcoming and does reflect what you would expect from a premier hotel. If you are located by the pool and would like a drink you are expected to travel in the lift to the bar and get your own, despite many staff, not being busy at pool level and permanently on their phones There was fowl smell in my room which was never resolved to my satisfaction As a result I requested my money back on day one- via On The Beach complaints department as I felt uncomfortable and was getting nowhere. The hotel refused to return my funds in order I could find an alternative hotel, this was on the basis any refund on their part was discretionary. I cannot stress-strongly enough staff do not communicate and were generally unhelpful during my 10 day stay. Other residents I talked to at the time were having similar experiences and were leaving early. Avoid this unfriendly environment!
