I cannot understand the high rate of reviews for what is essentially a hovel. I turned up in the early morning due to flight schedule and was taken up several steep flights of dirty stairs to a room that was filthy. There had obviously been a water leak as laminate flooring was buckled and unevenly raised, potentially causing danger. There was a very nasty stain on the sofa and the bed was just nasty. The bathroom was full of mould. I refused to stay and made contact with ***********. I chatted quite amicable to the night manager who assured me I would be refunded. This was not the case. The owner stole my money and refused d to refund. After several months *********** did refund me and i am very grateful. Unfortunately, having been a frequent visitor to Istanbul, I do not feel I will return. The standard of hotels has deteriorated beyond measure. The Frame being a prime example. Do not believe positive reviews, my experience is an honest and truthful account. Perhaps booking com would ensure that cancellation policies are transparent rather than at the whim of fraudsters? The policy says, and the night manager told me, 1 night would be forfeited, not 8 days! The owner of this establishment is an utter disgrace
