We are here for 10 days (currently on day 4) and we can’t wait to get home. If you are from the UK do not stay at this hotel. All of the 1 star reviews on here from Brits are all 100% true and we wish we had taken more notice of them. It’s a VERY Spanish hotel and when they visit for the day, they take over the hotel, as in pool area and restaurant. The Spanish throw towels onto sun beds and then leave for the day and security do nothing about it. If other nationalities do that, their towels get removed instantly. It’s a very ‘double standards’ kind of place. The pool area is filthy and the Spanish day visitors like to leave all their rubbish behind. Everyone has to wear a wrist band which is the norm for any all inclusive resort BUT, people from different nationalities have to wear different colours so that you can identify which nationality everyone is at a glance. I find this very strange. Guests from the UK have to wear purple and the Spanish wear Orange. I have never stayed in an all inclusive hotel and been made to feel so segregated and discriminated against. Everyone has paid to be a guest at the hotel so surely everyone should receive the same level of customer service? Not here. The food is awful and we have left the restaurant hungry most nights. The choice is minimal and everything is swimming in oil. If you don’t eat fish or shellfish don’t stay at this hotel. They make you queue outside and then you have to scan your door card as you go in, in order to prove you are a guest at the hotel and not on a day pass like some of the Spanish guests. You’re not allowed to choose where you would like to sit either, it’s very controlled but also very chaotic. On a Friday, Saturday and Sunday the locals come and visit the hotel and it’s a nightmare. It’s very busy and the hotel can’t cope with the locals and the usual staying guests all at once and it’s like a circus. The rooms need some updating and they aren’t cleaned everyday. The bathroom was dark and dingy and the toilet barely flushed. We stayed in a junior sweet which was ok but not great. We asked for an upgrade on our first day but the receptionist didn’t seem interested at all in helping us and became quite rude when I went back to see her a couple of hours later. We spent the first night in our original room (a studio room) as nothing was done to help us that day. Reception said that they would get back to us but never did so the next day we explained the situation to our TUI rep and she helped us out and spoke to reception for us, eventually sorting it out. When we went back to the reception to pay for our upgrade the receptionist ‘played dumb’ and made out she knew nothing about our situation. We had been travelling for hours, on very little sleep and just wanted some friendly customer service, but we didn’t receive any and felt very unwelcome. Once we FINALLY got our new room we had to pack up our things and then unpack again. It was very tiring indeed! There is a huge la
