Absolutely disgusting experience the lobby smelt, the rooms smelt, took 4 rooms to find one even remotely ready for a guest. One the fold out was broken, one the couch had enormous stains on cushions turned over, another random staining under the sink in the bathroom. Worst part is they shoved people in these nasty rooms the same night I turned them down without fixing anything no ownership by management no way to refund as booked electronically. Worst experience have had on a multi week road trip run, drive, walk go anywhere else is my recommendation.

I stayed here on August 30th, and this experience was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Let me be very clear: this property is misleading in its advertising, poorly managed, and not worth your money. • Check-in & Documentation: At check-in, I provided my credit card and signed documents, yet I was never given copies of what I signed. That alone is questionable business practice. • Room Location & Noise: My room was placed directly beside a stairwell. Every time someone used it, it sounded like someone was pounding on my door. Rest was impossible. • Broken Amenities: The in-room phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t even call guest services when I discovered more problems. I had to use my personal cell phone—something no guest should have to do. • Wi-Fi Scam: The hotel falsely advertises “Free Wi-Fi.” The internet didn’t work for streaming, and when I asked guest services, I was told it only works on phones and laptops—not the in-room TVs. The televisions run off DirecTV, and the hotel refuses to pay for streaming capabilities. I was stuck watching the heavily edited FX version of The Avengers instead of accessing my own Netflix account. The HDMI port was disabled, and the Bluetooth didn’t work either. • Hair Dryer Failure: The next morning I found the hair dryer didn’t work. When I went back to the front desk, I was told there wasn’t a single replacement available. Unacceptable. • Overall Impression: The only positive was the bed, but a bed alone doesn’t make up for a stay full of false advertising, broken amenities, and staff who can’t provide basic solutions. This hotel should be investigated for misleading practices. It is absolutely unacceptable to charge guests while failing to provide the basic services promised. Avoid this property unless you want to overpay for stress, broken amenities, and false promises.

I’ve always enjoyed my stay at the Sonesta hotels in Arizona. They were clean comfortable and had amazing breakfast. Unfortunately my stay at the Irving Texas location in July 2025 was the opposite my room 103 was far from the entrance and since I walk with a cane, I park in the back for easier access only to find out the door key card entrance never worked. I reported it on Thursday when I checked in but still wasn’t fixed by the time I left on Sunday The decor throughout the hotel was dated inside the room. I found ants, bugs and dirty carpet. While showering the shower-head fell off and hit my foot before I managed to reattach it. The pool was filthy and not usable. The grass need to be cut also around pool area.Stray cats were constantly hanging around the pool and parking lot at one point I came out and found a cat sitting on the top of my van. The property also had many large dogs barking through the night and jumping at kids in the hallway, which gave the impression that people are living there with pets, rather than just stopping though the hotel. It was a surprise girls trip for me. So I didn’t want to complain between my family and I we had four rooms here and all of us were disappointment. This location does not reflect the standards. I’ve experienced it other Sonesta properties. Serious need of improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and security. You have been warned, and I’d avoid this particular location at all costs.

I'll stay again For the most part my stay was great! Staff was wonderful. Room was good. The elevator looks rough. Looks like a service elevator not one for guests. The couch in the room (310) needs replacing. It's seen better days. Even with those couple of things the place was great. I'll definitely stay again.

They have a serious knat infestation. Thankfully I had a bug zapper racket with me. I wouldn’t stay here again.
