REVIEW: RESIDENCE INN We stayed here for a stop-over. Unfortunately, we ended up at the wrong Four Points on the North side. We called for the free shuttle from the airport and didn’t realize that we called the wrong Residence Inn. They say 1st impressions are everything. We arrived at the North Side and the front desk could not find us in the system and that’s when we realized the issue. They told us they could not take us to the Residence South side because it was past the miles they could travel. So guess what? We had to take a uber to the South side. Btw, I’m glad we chose the South side. Anyway, in my opinion, that is bad customer service considering they are the same company, the 4 stars. Anyway, we arrived at the South side and they said the North side should’ve taken us. Hopefully, no one else makes this mistake. The front desk was an absolute breath of fresh air. Ruby was so warm and welcoming and check-in was smooth. Our room was upgraded from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom/2 bathroom suite. It was very spacious which I loved. It is an older hotel and not very modern, but it was clean and worked for us for the night and we slept comfortably. For dinner, they recommended Aspen Creek grill and they give you 10% for staying at the hotel and the shuttle picks you up and drops you off. Raymond drove the shuttle and he was friendly and gave great information of Texas. Their breakfast is GREAT!! Good options and the kitchen staff were amazing. Overall a good stay!
