Crown Court Hotel

La nostra stanza quadrupla era enorme (finalmente dopo Londra ed Edimburgo dove dormivano uno sopra l'altro), con una mega TV, la cucina, un tavolo per 6 molto comodo. Bella la biancheria. Il bagno era ancora più grande, nella doccia ci si poteva entrare tutti. Le uniche pecche erano, una strana finestra in camere molto alta, non ad altezza occhi e il water che pensiamo perdesse e creava un odore forte. Parcheggio gratuito e comodo. Un pò fuori dal centro, ma con la macchina sicuramente più comodo. 10/15 minuti e si era in centro

Great location. The room was large and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a bit tired looking with flaking paint. Food was average for dinner. Breakfast (continental) which was extra had plenty cereal options and bread for toasting but continental meats/ cheese were not replenished and were on a stand which was not covered and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. Had to go looking for someone to give us coffee which seemed to be a recurring theme here.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel in Inverness. Our room was smallish but very clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast and served lovely food in their bar and restaurant in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated only 10 minutes walk from Inverness town centre. Free parking. Would certainly recommend.

On arrival it took 30 min to checkin as the girl on the desk was stoned. The Room. Room wasn't cleaned from previous occupancy. Bin had rubbish in it and grass n the floor. The bed was nice and comfy and the shower was excellent. Breakfast This is a joke. It's £10 and continental. I'm fine with that but not when it's cheap thin bread for toast, yoghurt (which was lovely). Week old fruit and a small selection of cold meat that was going off. When I asked for some butter for the toast I was given plant based flora. Would I stay again? Absolutely not. This hotel I more faulty towers than luxury. Much better for way cheaper in the area.

Travellers beware. Where do I start! I am almost embarrassed to admit that I booked this hotel. From the word go it was bad. We arrived a bit early. Reception unattended. Eventually found staff sitting around in the bar area. We were told to come back at 3.00. We had booked a deluxe king room. Anything but! We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night and that was under sufferance. The staff we’re helpful but the manager/owner is obnoxious. When we asked to be refunded for our 2nd night because the hotel was not as promised he became almost confrontational. The restaurant isn’t operating. Hence breakfast was delivered to our room in a box. The manager said that his chef had resigned a few days earlier. On leaving after 1 night we could not find anyone to accept payment. I had to email the property in order to get someone to come to reception. The girl who came to help us had to call the manager/owner to get instructions on how to accept payment. My husband then asked to pay for only 1 night. The manager/owner then accused us of abusing his staff (which we had not). He then said “you have caused me nothing than f@%$ing grief. Pay the full amount and leave”. This man should not be in the hotel business. When he came to talk to us about our complaints he was sloppily dressed and his fly was undone. Great look. This hotel should be rated as a backpackers. Definitely not a 3 star. I have stayed in better youth hostels.

No air conditioning and room almost on road. You have to keep window open so you can breath and you hear the stop light beeping when the light changes and conversations of the people walking on sidewalk by your window . Traffic never stops. There is no one manning the desk or building. Flat hard pillows and the mattress is so worn out you can see dents in the shape of where people have laid.
