Ballifeary House

This is a very quiet and well appointed guest house located in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the River Ness Walkway and downtown Inverness. Breakfast was very good, and The room and bath were very nice, and Fraser gave us great tips for walks and sites as well as restaurants with vegan offerings. Check-in is only after 4pm (there is no one at the house before that) so that is something to keep in mind. I would definitely recommend Ballifeary Guest House if visiting Inverness

We were delighted to spend another vacation at Ballifeary Guest House. Fraser is a kind, friendly and knowledgeable host and goes out of his way to ensure that his guests have everything they need. We had intended to spend 5 nights at Ballifeary but due to airline changes we got shortchanged by a day which was disappointing. We had the same room we had been in before which was overlooking Ballifeary Lane which is a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood. It is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre and close to the Ness Islands and Botanical gardens. So much to see in the area and Ballifeary is central to most. Because we spent a number of days there, we were fortunate to spend a bit of time with Milly and Marley, Fraser's two beautiful dogs, who just love to have a head or belly rub. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast and fingers crossed, we get to visit again. Thank you Fraser, for a wonderful stay and perhaps the MacPhee line is something we share. :)

Mark and Susan visit Scotland Fraser is a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast choices are diverse and delicious. Plant milk available if you are non dairy. There are fresh flowers in vases everywhere, especially in the breakfast room. Charming, inside and out. Short walk to the town center.

Beautiful house in a great location. Ballifeary is a beautiful home. Fraser is the consummate gentleman. He gave us great ideas for places to visit in the area. The main part of town is only 5 - 8 minute walk and he knew all the best places and the need to make reservations. Each morning we received a delicious breakfast which we chose from a menu the night before. It was ready at the time we chose to be in the dining area.

Schönes B&B in Inverness Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und der Inhaber sehr freundlich. Da es sich um ein älteres Gebäude handelt, waren die Treppen und Gänge sehr schmal und die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Insgesamt hat uns der Besuch aber sehr gut gefallen.
