On the outskirts, 2 km from the centre of Drumnadrochit, in a secluded, quiet position on top of a hill, 2 km from the lake. Private: garden (fenced) lawn. Patio, garden furniture. Pre-arrival grocery service. Bumpy, narrow motor access. 4x4 car recommended in winter. Parking at the house. Shop 2.5 km, grocery 2.5 km, supermarket 20 km, shopping centre 20 km, restaurant 1.5 km, bar 2.5 km, bakery 2.5 km, café 2 km, 2 minute walk to the centre, bus stop 2 km, railway station 20 km. Golf course (18 hole) 20 km, riding stable 35 km. Nearby attractions: Urquhart Castle 5 km, Loch Ness 2 km, Loch Ness Exhibition Centre 2 km, Fort Augustus 30 km, Jacobite Boat Trips 3 km, Culloden Battlefield 33 km. The location is wonderful. We loved Drumnadrochit and the drive on the dirt road was worth the views from the cottage. It was great staying in an old cottage, everything was in good condition. It just could have used more vacuuming/cleaning, and we had
