Glenmoriston Arms Hotel

We were staying up the hill and decided to walk down to the pub section at the front of the hotel having phoned ahead confirming if they accept dogs which they did. It was a Friday night and empty which didn't surprise us as invermoriston is quite remote. The pub is very clean and well lit with not a huge range of beers on tap available but I managed 👌.. The staff were friendly and polite and offered a tab after I told them my family were joining me. Not the cheapest but if you want cheap drinks go to the coop or Aldi and sit in your living room 😂.. All in this was a nice little place to have a couple but I couldn't stay there for a session. Worth the visit if you're looking for a quick, pleasant little pint

Friends and I were staying in a local B&B for three nights and the hotel was the only place to have dinner. The food and service were very good. However, we were disappointed that “Today’s Menu” didn’t change at all over the 3 nights, even the items on the “Specials” board.

Stayed nearby for a holiday. We decided to go to the Glenmoriston for evening dinner as it was a very short walk. We had food and drinks during our time there. The food was pleasant but overpriced! The menu was limited, not a lot of choice (4 only to choose from). I was disappointed to note on paying the bill that a pint of cider was £8.20, really? We didn't go back. I am surprised if locals regularly go there due to their inflated prices! Anyone reading this, Fort Augustus is only a 6 mile drive from here.
