The Shandwick Inn

Great spot to stay for travels around the North 500. We had everything we needed for a good night sleep, breakfast in the morning, and dinner and drinks in the bar.

A lovely old pub with good facilities great food choice, and the staff were very welcoming and proficient.

Stayed in a small cottage on site. Terrible smell in room. Extractor fan and vanity light not working. Bed frame too small for 6ft husband. Good great tho!

A Bit Tired, but Met My Needs My stay was, in a word, adequate. The staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant/pub was very good. The bed was reasonably comfy. So, my basic needs were met. However, the room and restaurant were both a bit tired, with the vinyl peeling off some of the seats in the restaurant and the room feeling a bit on the damp side with carpeting that was not particularly nice. So if you are looking for basic accommodation and don't mind the aesthetics, then this is a good choice.
