The person on reception was very apologetic about asking me if I had paid in full for my stay at the time of making an online booking through *******, but then went into too much detail about difficulties the motel had with bookings made through a third party (e.g. double booked rooms). However, she enquired what plans I had for the day, and even offered to arrange a lift to a place I wanted to visit.
The room was equipped with a 'fridge, basic crockery, cutlery and glasses, and was very clean and comfortable. The receptionist pointed me in the right direction to reach it, but I was offered no assistance getting to it.
On the morning of my departure, at 8 am, I almost missed a taxi I had booked as the reception was not yet open. What I understood to be the way out (the same way as I had entered on arrival) was locked and I had to find a longer way round to the front of the motel.
