We spent one night in Inishmore and stayed at the Clai Ban- a very nice, comfortable B and B within walking distance to pubs and shops. There was so much to explore and the Clai Ban provided the perfect base for us. Breakfast offerings included a full Irish breakfast.

They wanted to be paid in cash only for breakfast. The toilet in the bathroom smelt of really strong urine. The room itself was nice enough. It was actually March 2019 but I’m not given the chance to scroll back further than October 2022.

Claí Bán was a quaint B&B for our two night stay with a very welcoming and helpful fear an tí that greeted us named Bartley. The B&B is 5mins from the harbour and well signposted so easy to find. We had a very comfortable double room with en-suite. Breakfast was served from 8.30am-9.30am. There is hot and cold breakfast available. The breakfast room is as pictured with lots of lovely antiques native to Inis Mór dotted around. Within spitting distance of the B&B is Tí Joe Watty. Lovely food and even tastier pints of Guinness available but I noted that it gets busy after 5.30pm. On the day of departure our Ferry back to Doolin wasn’t until 4pm, check out from Claí Bàn is at 11am Bartley let us know that for €2 per bag there’s a shop called “Man of Aran-coffee and crafts” that will store your bags for the day which was very handy because we were able to explore for the day - collect the bags- and hop on the ferry.

Nice B&B -enjoyed our stay. Short walk from village center. Owner is very helpful on giving suggestions on how to maximize your time in Innis Mor. Would stay there again without hesitation. Breakfast was good and at a convenient time. Recommend this B&B.

Very quaint! Owner was wonderful, room clean and located close to town and bar. Beautiful surroundings. Breakfast in the morning tasty. Love this town and the B&B just added to the charm of the island. I am hopeful to go back for another visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Clai Ban. We had the pleasure of a very rainy and windy weather for our stay and our host offered to drive us to the pub for dinner even though it was walking distance. The house was cozy the rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would highly recommend it!

I was originally greeted by the house dog, Ms. Porter, who will steal your heart. But the owner, Mr Bartley, is a great host as well and very welcoming of travelers onto the island. I came in the off season so hardly anyone was staying there, I actually had the house to myself the first night. The breakfast he makes is great and has vegetarian friendly options as well for those. Its in a great location from the ferry docks, about a 10 min walk from the main part of town, and a 5 min walk from the grocer and Joe Watty's pub. The room it self was very clean and organized, the heater worked well in keeping me warm at night in the cold weather on the island.

We were greeted by Porter the resident pooch as we walked up the drive. The ensuite room was very comfy with two double beds. The bath was large and the shower had great water pressure! Our host Bartley was very nice and told us all about the guesthouse and a bit about the surrounding area as well. We only stayed the one night, but it was lovely and very close to Joe Watty’s restaurant/bar which was handy!

Very comfortable accommodations a short walk from the ferry. Room was spotless and so peaceful. Right next door to Ti Joe Watty's for dinner. Great breakfast provided in the morning. We miscalculated the ferry departure time and nearly missed it but the host was luckily available to give us a quick lift down to the pier.
