Excellent for location, amenities and friendly helpful staff. Swimming pool was all the young kids needed. Staff even made a 7-year old’s birthday special, including a bun-on-string no hands eating competition. Very good Italian dining next door plus one a bonus.

Petit écrin de verdure paradisiaque. La chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le personnel est au petit soin, tous comme la réception. Ne surtout pas prendre le tuk tuk de l'hôtel. Le driver ne suit pas l'adresse indiquée par écrit et il vous emmène où il a ses connaissances. Il insiste pour que vous achetiez, tout en vous suivant, même en lui disant explicitement que ce comportement est dérangeant. Il gonfle le prix dit par la réception. Très très mauvaise expérience avec lui. Comme il traînait toujours dans l'hôtel, j'ai écourté mon séjour.

We had been to palm restaurant managed by sea rock villa, the food was fine but the service is terrible. The waiters at the restaurant do not want to give service. They don't come at the table to take the Ala cart food orders nor they deliver food on time. We as afamily were tired of waiting for more than 2.5 hours just to get food. Worst service ever.

We thoroughly recommend Sea Rock Villa to all families. Nothing family-related was too much trouble for the staff: Washing bottles and providing milk for our 1 year old. It was even our daughter's 7th birthday while we were staying and the manager Jaika organised us a cake and even helped set up a traditional Sri Lankan party game for us. The hotel has a lovely, kid friendly setting. We felt like royalty during our stay.

We were here for 5 nights after a busy week touring in the mountains around Ella. We chose the Sea Rock as our final hotel before we flew home. Unfortunately just before we arrived at Sea rock, my wife broke her leg at a hotel in Ella. We decided after consulting with a Doctor in Galle to stay with our itinary and not return home imediately. I am so glad we did. The staff ar Sea rock are amazing, they looked after my wife so well and went out of their way to make sure she was as comfortable as she could be. The room was really nice and was kept really clean, the food was amazing and the location on the beach is perfect. I would recommend Sea Rock wholeheartedly, its a lovely place with amazing staff. I have just booked for us to back next year.

This is the most amazing place to stay. The staff are attentive & so friendly & pleasant. Only spent two night here, wished we’d booked longer & would definitely return. We had the most amazing view overlooking the pool & sea. The room was stunning. Huge comfortable bed with extra pillows & lots of plugs around. Tea & coffee making facilities. Comfortable chairs in the room & on the balcony. Shower area lovely with lots of extras. Air con & fan great. The food was absolutely delicious. All meals were lovely. We had English breakfast but you could order a Sri Lankan breakfast the night before. Lunch a la carte. As we were half board, we had to order our evening meal at lunchtime. You got soup then a choice of two main courses & two deserts. All the food was great. Beach beds comfy & the pool man was very attentive & helped you. Beach fabulous & pool refreshing. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Rock Villa near Bentota. The hotel was the cleanest among all our accommodations. Its location is excellent, with direct access to the beach. The on-site restaurant serves fresh and delicious food, and the waiters are professional and well-trained. However, they made it quite obvious that they expected a tip before we left. While the hotel premises are enjoyable, safe, and relaxing, venturing out to Aluthgama, where the shops are located, was less pleasant. We were constantly followed by people trying to earn a commission on our purchases, which made the experience uncomfortable.

Very spacious room that was kept very clean and tidy by the room boy , excellent en suite bathroom . All the staff were friendly , knowledgeable , efficient and couldnt do enough to make this a memorable stay . Restaurant food was on the whole well prepared , presentable and tasty . Full marks to the restaurant and bar staff
