Hotel-Garni Stern - Bed & Breakfast & More

Mitten im Ortszentrum befindet sich dieses traditionelle Haus. Das Dekor ist üppig und landestypisch, eher dunkel, mit viel Holz und sogar einem ausgestopftem Hirsch im Entrée. Der Empfang war freundlich, das Zimmer (Kategorie Comfort) recht gross und funktional eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber und die Installationen funktionierten tadellos. Auch das WLAN war stabil und funktioniert im ganzen Haus. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, die Eierspeisen werden auf Bestellung frisch zubereitet und der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Hotel eignet sich gut für einen Zwischenstopp oder für Wander- bzw. Biketouristen.

The bed broke the second I sat on it to go to bed. I am a small woman. As it was past 10PM, I had to sleep on a broken bed which hurt my back very badly. Not even an apology. I saved my money to go to the restaurant since it is extremely expensive, which says it's only for hotel guests, well they sat me in a small room all alone while they had a party for non guests. I asked why I was never informed I could not eat in the restaurant, they said they told me so in an email. I showed them the email proving that was a lie, so they switched to blaming me. For none of this was I offered even a small gesture like a complimentary wine. The most insulting is they could not even apologize. Oh and my view was of a construction zone... Oh and the cleaning lady opened my door at 8AM while I was sleeping. I don't complain often but honestly this is just completely insulting and quite frankly humiliating to their guests. To recap I spent 98EUR for a child sized broken bed, 40EUR to eat in a small room alone without informing as a hotel guest I could not actually eat in the restaurant while their website says restaurant is only for hotel guests. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.
