Incredible retreat in Isalo What an incredible find in Madagascar. While the property is older, it has the most incredible setting. Booking a superior room is absolutely worth it for the mountain-front views and electricity at all hours. The room itself is massive - the photos online do not do it justice. The bed has a clever mosquito net surrounding the whole "bed room" so you can still move within the net and use the nightstands. The room also has A/C which was fantastic. Didn't even sleep with the curtains closed in order to wake up to the incredible view. They did do turndown, which was mostly just to close the mosquito netting. The tub has a great view as well- the water doesn't get super hot because the tub is concrete to naturally cools the water a bit, but regardless it's fantastic. The food is great, while pricier than other hotels, you do get what you pay for. Great breakfast as well. This is a true gem and an absolute MUST if you're in the area. You will not regret it!

Bellissima struttura con un panorama mozzafiato e camere molto belle e ben arredate, bellissimo bagno e una vasca con vista sulla vetrata spettacolare.Peccato che nell'inverno (agosto) le pompe di calore non funzionassero dopo una certa ora per spegnimento centralizzato dell'impianto, almeno questo è quanto ci hanno risposto alle nostre lamentele.La nostra guida ha dovuto insistere a lungo per ottenere l'accensione alla seconda notte di permanenza.Un vero peccato perché la struttura è veramente bellissima e molto ben tenuta ma dormire al freddo non è ammissibile

This is definitely above the standard Madagascar lodge. Rooms are well designed, maintained and spacious. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the food. Not bad, but it is worth mentioning that all the food on Madagascar is very much blend. Especially avoid pastas. Noone knows how to cook pasta.

We stayed here mid october for 2 nights but we wished we could have stayed longer. The Lodge is perfectly located close to the parc and with a magnificent view of the beautiful landscape of this region. All the staff is great and helpful and always smiling and willing to help. The lodge comprises a main building with a reception, a restaurant and a great bar with an adjacent swimming pool. On the other side of the swimming pool there are 2 or 3 rows of rooms. Our room was beautiful and spacious and had a large terrace with a magnificent view. The bedroom is large and next to the bedroom is a large open bathroom with whirlpool and a separate shower. The toilet is a separate room which is great. In the restaurant you can have breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is served at the table and we liked the breakfast. Dinner is a menu where you can choose from. You have 2 or 3 choices for each course and also this was of a great quality. Lunch you can have also at the bar and you can choose from a large menu. The bar is nice with a lot of choices, they have a lot of cocktails and they make these cocktails with great diligence (and time), unfortunately there was no blue curacao (this was a disappointment for us). We also had a massage and this was really great and we can recommend this highly. One warning don't be prudish because you have to take off all your clothes, we didn't mind but if you do be prepared. At the end of the hotel there is a stairs up a rock and from the top you have one of the best sunsets you can get. We had here a sunset drink and this was really great and well organised (thanks to the staff).

Hôtel magnifique caché au milieu des roches ocres et brunes, un environnement tout simplement magique. Très belles prestations, de qualité tant la partie hôtelière que restauration. Dommage que le débit de la baignoire ne permette pas de la remplir....

Lodge situato all’interno dell’Isalo National park. Il parco è meraviglioso e imperdibile, il lodge stupendo. Camere spaziosissime, con vista pazzesca, bagno con vasca grande con vista, doccia super, grande gusto in ogni dettaglio. Giorgio window, punto panoramico all’interno del resort da cui vedere il tramonto. Piscina molto bella e pulita. Ristorante di livello. Ottimo in tutti i sensi
