The Leaf Munnar

Overall good

My wife and I visited Munnar the first time,tho` have earlier visited Kerala many times. The Leaf resort was a delight----the ambience of misty rolling hills covered with tea estates, the quaint eco friendly cottages all over, the lovely water bodies, and the full moon scudding between fluffy clouds on a crystal clear sky certainly made our mood! The property has charming cottages with unique flora all around ,the kitchen fare was extremely delicious(a clap for the Chefs team!) and above all, the staff was extremely helpful and smiling always. The resort has many interesting activities for guests---we enjoyed the campfires, the Chai kadaa , bird watching and Nature Walk the most, helped of course by our ever helpful and informative guide Sh. Nandan.We spotted many birds---the oriental magpie, the Golden Oriole, the drongo-- among others, as also some unique flora and trees. I have highlighted these aspects as we found these aspects of activities very relaxing. If we have the opportunity, we would certainly be back for another visit. So thank you ,all at the resort! This property has plenty to offer. Our room was large, spacious well layout out. I really appreciated all the available counter top space to open up my luggage. Nice balcony to enjoy the sunsets. Dinning room areas were very pretty especially the second floor with its beautiful views. The buffet offered a wide selection of food and the A la carte menu was nice also. We enjoyed our meals. The property offers different activities. I really enjoyed my 7:30 am yoga class the teacher was awesome. The staff are amazing I wish I could remember everyone’s names but each one went over and above to offer a great experience to each and everyone of their guests The property itself is just beautiful. Set in the mountains with amazing views. Clean and well maintained Highly recommend
