Adrak Summer Sand Hill Resort Vagamon

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is near the pine forest entrance, only walking distance from the hotel. The stone built hotel's architecture is a visual treat. Location is very good. The entire property and the view from the room balcony is beautiful. There is a pond and it's nice to watch. Food is good. Not impressed with the buffet dinner. Ala carte was good. Ghee roast in the breakfast and nadan chicken curry in the dinner was very good 👍. They have a good amount of parking space. The only problem is that the road connecting the hotel and the main road is congested, full of small shops as it is the same road that leads to pine forest entrance. If another vehicle is coming from the side of the hotel, then we need to go back to main road as the road is very narrow. But, once we reach the hotel we have good parking facility. You can contact the hotel before getting into the sub road towards the hotel so that they can arrange security. All the tourist spots can be easily accessed from the hotel location. 5 stars for the location of the hotel.

Never ever recommend this hotel. Worst experience in my life. The room is old, shabby and pathetic. They charged rupees 11996- for 2 rooms. No one picks up if we call the room service. Luckily my family had one night stay. We moved to a different hotel. The worst part is the way to the hotel which is also the walking path to pine forest. That means you can barely move the car between the people walking through the way and you need to fight with them to make the path. The traffic is terrific at this place and it took 30mins to cover 200m. Better find a good hotel at same price with good amenities.

Toilet seat was broken and we were not able to use it. Even after 3 hours they didn't corrected. Breakfast was of poor quality and some puri and puttu was the items. Not even omelet or egg was there. Only advantage was that it was very near to pine forest

Adrak sand hill resort, vagamon. Location is very good, near the pine forest. Property is also good, with a central pond and nice surroundings. But there are some serious problems. Firstly access road to the resort is partially occupied by vendors and very difficult to drive through. Worst thing is poor maintenance and housekeeping. Switch board was found dangling. Drainage smell was coming from the toilet. Food is average, we tried only once. They forgot to clear the leftover plates for 2 days!

Terrible reception staff- we had to wait for 7-8 hours just to get towels, water, ac remote(which wasn’t there in the room, and an extra bed. Receptionist staff lashed back at us for cancel-ling a cab booking, and dint give us the room which was promised. Pool table was old. Pond was dirty! location is not good.

Stayed at british cottage. Clean room and bathroom. Room offers balcony. Dining space is provided in the balcony with a great view.

Location is good, facilities are 2-star grade. The entrance to the property is same as road to Pine Valley so very difficult to access at peak hours.

Very poor. The property is poorly maintained. Buffet is not well relished for all guest to enjoy all variety. Despite of request, the staff didn’t care and ignored the request. Furniture in the room very dirty. TV remote not functioning. Phone not operational in the room.

Value for money was not there, as we got the room at a higher rate may be due to week end. The food was not that great. The staff was good but adequate people were not there which should be ensured on busy days
