Iberostar Selection Santa Eulalia Ibiza - Adults Only

Gorgeous hotel, from the moment we arrived we were very well looked after. We paid for AI star prestige and couldn’t fault it, mini in our room, coffee machine, access to rooftop pool and bar, waiter/waitress service at your sunbed. (The pool is freezing) the staff are fantastic and always so helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Rafa on reception and the young man who helps with the cases. They were both very helpful and friendly, also Jhonathon, Carmin, Alonso and Ismael for serving us drinks, always being so happy, friendly and making us laugh. As some have said the rooms are small but we hardly spent anytime in there so didn’t bother us. The views from the roof terrace are beautiful. I have coeliac disease, I couldn’t fault the hotel for labelling, lots of gluten free snacks available (rarely have this in any hotel). We had a fantastic holiday, met some lovely people (staff and guests) and will definitely be returning.

A lovely setup. Nice pool, sun loungers/beds. Quiet location but not far from the town. You can catch a ferry to Santa Eulària it only takes 10 mins, or it's a nice walk if you need to walk off some food and drink! The room was small but nice, we paid a bit extra to have a sea view. The staff are really good but there just wasn't enough of them which made service very slow at times. The food was not as good as it could be because the hot buffet food was only luke warm, I'm sure it was not being held above 65 degrees which was concerning from a food hygiene perspective. This problem would be solved if the hot food was prepared in smaller batches so it could be turned over quicker. There was cooled filtered water dispensers on each floor and a glass jug in the room so it was easy to get water, which I liked. The big BUT for me tho was NO COFFEE making facilities in the room and for this reason alone I personally wouldn't return. In addition the coffee served at breakfast was abominable, however if you ask for "machine coffee" they are happy to make you an americano. There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel and poolside though and the staff were mostly fantastic. I just had the feeling that there are a few too many cost cutting measures such as not enough staff, no coffee in room, the pool towel exchange only being open in the morning and afternoon for 2 hours. Despite these ******* we did have a lovely week here, and really enjoyed our holiday.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were made to feel welcome - despite a late evening arrival we were shown to the dining room for dinner, which was really appreciated. The staff are amazing, they are genuinely friendly and just can't do enough for you and we felt really well looked after throughout our stay. The hotel is spotless throughout and our room was clean and pleasant. The pool area is attractive and there were enough sun loungers for everyone. Complimentary cocktails and icecreams were provided daily, which was a lovely touch and there was always a free shot after dinner too! The choice of food was great - comprehensive selections with a different theme each night along with staples of pasta, pizza, paella, meats, cheeses, veggie options and salads. Again service in bars and restaurant was very good. There is a small beach nearby (basic) and we walked down to it for a quick dip in the med, which was enjoyable. We didn't pay for the upgraded prestige option which gives you a superior room with terrace and access to the rooftop pool as our budget didn't really allow, but we didn't feel we'd missed out any as we were very pleased with the overall experience of our stay. We honestly felt that we'd never stayed in a hotel where we'd received such wonderful service - the staff are truly a credit to their organisation and we'd thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Ensemble du personnel disponible et aux petits soins pour les clients Tout le monde travaille avec le sourire ce qui a rendu le séjour très agréable. Nous avons eu droit à plusieurs petites attentions de la part de la direction et du responsable de salle: une journée en zone prestige (piscine privée sur le toit, snacks et boissons à volonté), bouteilles de cava et de vin offertes ainsi que des cocktails. Chambre propre et de belles dimensions. Restaurant de qualité proposant chaque soir des buffets à thème spectaculaires. Merci à l'ensemble du personnel pour ces superbes vacances relaxantes. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation .

Hier een lang weekend geweest. Wij hebben hier genoten ,schone kamer fijn bed vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel elke dag ander thema bij het diner fijne ligbedjes bij de verschillende zwembaden prima rustige locatie ook het dakterras is erg aangenaam

What a wonderful holiday. We loved the hotel. Staff, food, Star Prestige - all excellent. We just returned home today and I have just read a very recent negative review. I’m not being rude but not sure if you got your hotels confused Amanda?? We also travel widely and have high standards - for anyone reading these reviews (as we did before booking) - we saw no young lads, no mosquitoes, no noise. Au contraire! What we experienced was peace, tranquility and a standard higher than we expected. We took recommendation for this hotel from a travel agent (first time we’d used one in years as we normally book independently) who recommended Star Prestige- he was so right and we’d advise anyone to do it. We booked half board and Star Prestige and it was ideal. Met some lovely people too all very much enjoying the hotel. Thank you for a lovely holiday Iberostar!

It was excellence

Das Iberostar Hotel ist direkt am Meer. Ein Erlebnis für sehr schöne und lange Küstenspaziergänge bis nach Santa Eulària. In 10. Minuten Gehdistanz (Richtung Santa Eulària) ist ein kleiner Sandstrand mit Kiosk und Restaurant. Grosses und abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbüffet mit schöner Sitzgelegenheit im Restaurant drinnen sowie auch draussen auf der Terrasse. Empfehlenswert ist das Star Prestige Package zu buchen. Zutrifft zum rooftop pool mit herrlichem Blick über das Meer und toller chilliger Atmosphäre. Rooftop pool ist im 6. Stock (Zutritt nur mit Star Prestige). Wir hatten ein grosses Doppelzimmer im 5.Stock. Superbequemes breites Doppelbett. Grosses Badezimmer mit viel Stauraum und separatem WC. Balkon mit seitlichem Meerblick. Im Gang neben dem Lift sind Wasserspender, sehr praktisch um jederzeit selber Wasser zu holen. Das Personal ist überwiegend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Herzlichen Dank an Gustavo (Rezeption) und Ismael im Service, ihr seid besonders aufmerksam und sehr engagiert! Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Urlaub im Iberostar Hotel!

I am a “lucky ” traveler ……let’s say, i travel all over the world sometimes every month, I mainly review hotels when they’ve been particularly good or particularly bad…..unfortunately as is the case here. The hotel staff are amazing , as has been said before in reviews but the good stops there. I will list the main comments below. 1) DO NOT UPGRAE TO A PENTHOUSE. (I did) The noise , 5am every morning the rubbish gets emptied ,directly below my room, dustbin Lorrie’s collecting from the large containers, the noise is atrocious, 2) KITCHEN EXTRACTOR CAN BE HEARD FROM ROOM There is a sound at intervals similar to a ships horn, can be heard from room,terrace and even star prestige pool. 3) SOUND PROOFING IN ROOMS Other guests can be heard stomping back to rooms early hours,clearly using the bathroom….and “other” things.!! The area is quite residential and noise from road, houses etc is very loud. Imagine the lorry noises backing up with their reverse beeping! Motorbikes, roaring up to hotel. 4) THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN FIXED AFTER MY COMPLAINTS 1st day storms with torrential rain which came through window, left with massive puddles of water on floor. False grass outside patio doors soaked up the rain and didn’t dry for the whole week,the smell was disgusting and even though reported , I had to grab a maintenance man myself to sort it. They stuck some mastic outside to stop the rain entering. 5) 2 occasions I had shout at a group of young lads on balcony below as they were drunk and loud. They didn’t have wrist bands on , obviously underage,but they were being served drinks from adults, presumably their parents. This is actually illegal. 6) food extremely repetitive and certain things overcooked or too salty. 7) BALCONY OF PENTHOUSE Terrace is aesthetically beautiful. The jacuzzi pool has many tiles missing leaving sharp edges. 8) mosquitos Awful, management said because of rain , outsider say it’s always like that. I asked why they don’t “fog” the area , was told cos they’re only here when it rains. I’m have been bitten to pieces and usually never get bitten, this is with 2 lots of insect repellent and a plug in. I believe in giving management the chance to put things right before I write a review, I had a meeting with management and can honestly say I’m disgusted with the reaction. I have paid extra ,a lot extra, for the peace ,tranquility and privacy of a penthouse and have not received what was promised. As I’m writing this the sound of motorbikes outside is atrocious. They offered me a massage and to eat freely in the snack bar. I refused these things as i feel I had been sold a “dream” holiday and received a trip to an industrial estate on the m25. Contact me for more info. There has been a lot wrong, the rooms are tiny, cheaply done and tacky. Do not wast your money here. Probably my worst holiday yet.
