Lake Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge (full of trails suited for hiking or biking) and Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge are both just a few miles away. The beaches of the OBX are 45 minutes away, including Kitty Hawk, NC Aquarium @ Manteo, Wright Brothers Memorial, Jennette's Fishing Pier, and The Lost Colony. This beautiful bungalow is completed with a queen size bed, a pull out couch (full), a full bathroom, a large outside shower, tv, internet, kitchenette with large dorm sized refrigerator and freezer, small kitchen sink, and hot plate with pots and pans. Recently renovated because of Hurricane Dorian, we have also added an outside shower to a list of the amenities, and If you are looking to escape and enjoy the freedom from the hustle and bustle of day to day life, this is your perfect island paradise. Don't forget the dogs! Dogs are allowed for a small additional fee. Please leave the cottage better than you found it! We do not provide linens, towels, or paper products. This is my personal cottage, so please respect it as if it were your grandmothers :). Check in is at 2pm, Check out is 11am.
