Hyannis Harbor Hotel

No luggage racks in room to put luggage. You have to put everything on floor and get on your knees to take your clothing out. They charge a resort fee and then lock the indoor pool and hottub so you cannot use it. No coffee maker in room You must go outside to even get a cup of coffee! The handles to the building give you hard time getting in and out of them as do the steps if you have any mobility problems. No place to put even your toothbrush on the sink it is so small. The tiles in the shower had mold. And when you call because you did not receive the bill they said they sent it! Have to call again and again. Would NEVER return for the prices they charge!!!!

Good location, room was large clean and comfortable. Contrary to another review there was a safe in the room. Just two complaints. No breakfast available. Had to go to cafe across the road which we thought was expensive Our room was directly outside the ice machine. The noise from this would wake us up in the night and prevented a good nights sleep. In retrospect we should have asked to change rooms. Why they put the machines outside a room is questionable.

Another great stay, this time in the fall. Rooms, location and staff are all a great value in a convenient location. Proximity to downtown in the fall is nice as there are options there for dinner, breakfast, dessert, etc. Renovations are nice, and overall just a pleasant stay.

We paid a premium price for the location, but definitely missed the little touches from another smaller, less expensive hotel in the same area. Nothing specifically bad happened but no coffee station, no available extra bathroom staples (we accidentally forgot), and under the bed was some food from a previous guest.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. Something very sketchy is going on here. Early in the morning after our first night here, we had a staff member enter our apartment without knocking while we were still laying in bed, which scared the daylights out of us. Thankfully, we had our door stopper in use so he could not get in. When I confronted him in the hallway, he apologized and said it was the “wrong room.” Ok, no harm I guess. Then later that day, we found out that the EXACT same thing happened to another couple we were vacationing with. I’m sorry, but the odds of that “mistake” happening twice to two couple who know each other, IN THE SAME DAY? Zero, unless it wasn’t a mistake at all. Not only did this make us feel incredibly unsafe and vulnerable, but learning that it happened to someone else we knew made us start questioning whether this was some concerted effort to steal things from rooms. And if that’s not the case, then at absolute bare minimum it’s an insane and indefensible invasion of privacy. Of course, the rooms also have no safes, so unless your suitcase has a lock on it (ours thankfully do) just be prepared to stay here knowing your things may not be safe. Aside from that horrible experience, the floor in our room was slanted at about a 20 degree angle, meaning we had to sleep at a decline. There are basically no redeeming qualities to this hotel. Front desk is uninterested in helping with anything, the walls and ceilings are paper thin so it’s noisy at all hours, it’s located in a visually depressing part of town. Paying this much money for what is basically a glorified motel should be against the law. Buyer beware.

If you're looking for somewhere to rest your head before a very early Nantucket ferry, this is your place. The location couldn't be more convenient unless it was literally on the boat. The room I had was huge, but the bathroom was TINY. So tiny, the sink was outside of the bathroom. The amount of empty useless space in the actual living area could have easily been converted to bathroom space, and still had enough room in the living area to host a gala.

lovely rooms. Walkable to Main street shopping. Parking spaces are small and can be difficult to use.

Night staff for check in not very helpful. Did not give us quite room as requested. Would not come back here again

This is one of the most beautiful hotels with a harbor view. With great local restaurants within a block away.
