Giraffe Manor Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night on August 10th. The Giraffe Manor Hotel is located in a bamboo forest. We booked a package deal on trip.com. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, and we were a little unlucky with the weather, as Typhoon Dolphin was in full swing, so we weren't able to fully appreciate the park and its children's activities. We booked a Distant Mountain Family Room. This room is on the first floor; it's better to book a room higher up—on the second or third floor—with a terrace for a view. The room, bed linens, and towels were clean. The room has everything for children, including a play tent, toys, a children's skincare set, and a giraffe-themed toothbrush. There's a bathtub by the window in the room itself. On the table was a plate of seasonal fruit, a capsule coffee machine, and coffee capsules. There was also a children's snowball fight set. The room had a slight, subtle odor, possibly due to the humid climate; we weren't sure what it was. But our main goal, of course, was breakfast with the giraffes. We arrived at the restaurant for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. We recommend arriving at that time to get a table by the window; the giraffes are released at 7:00 a.m., which is when they're hungry. Carrots are sold starting at 7:00 a.m. A bag of carrots costs 30 yuan. We bought 15 bags of carrots in total, as feeding the giraffes is a joy not only for children but also for adults. The giraffes are very well-groomed and cute. They have beautiful eyes with eyelashes. We definitely recommend coming here with children. The breakfasts themselves are delicious, buffet-style, and offer both Chinese and European cuisine. They also have delicious ice cream. We also had dinner at this restaurant. The portions are very large; one dish is easily enough for two. Our package included champagne, but you need a separate paper coupon for it. Please confirm this with reception if your package includes champagne. We weren't given a voucher right away; we had to write to reception during dinner. The issue was quickly resolved. We communicated with the hotel staff through a translator throughout. Upon checkout, our daughter was given a stuffed giraffe. We definitely recommend this experience for families with children and not only for kids: breakfast with the giraffes will be a memorable experience for everyone. We will definitely recommend this experience to our friends and everybody.

Our stay at Giraffe Manor was truly magical and unforgettable! 🦒💕 The location of our room was perfect — quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It honestly felt like we were one-on-one with the wild, rather than staying in a typical hotel. A very special thank you to our concierge, Yang, who deserves a special mention. We communicated with her throughout our entire stay through WeChat, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was always incredibly quick to respond, very polite, kind, and helpful with anything we needed. Having someone so attentive and reliable available whenever we had a question made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. We truly appreciated all of her help and felt that she went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. ❤️ Breakfast with the giraffes was definitely one of the highlights of every morning. 🦒 Watching the giraffes and all the other animals living, exploring, and enjoying their surroundings was such a beautiful experience. It felt like we were simply guests in their world — observing them in their natural environment and becoming a small part of their space. This is definitely not a “behind-the-bars” type of zoo. The animals have so much freedom and space, which makes the experience feel incredibly special. There are also so many things to do around the hotel. We received a bunch of coupons at check-in for different activities, which was a great bonus. There are a couple of restaurants nearby as well, serving great food, so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day, and the car/cart service around the property was very convenient whenever we got tired of walking. Everything was well organized and made the whole experience comfortable and relaxing. We’re so happy we chose to stay here. It’s one of those places that feels like a little fairytale and creates memories you’ll remember forever. And a huge thank you again to Yang for making our stay even more special! ❤️

A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Yang helped with everything, for which I am very grateful. I had never seen giraffes before, it was simply unforgettable. The entire hotel grounds are like a big zoo, with animals at every turn.

This place truly makes people happy! I highly recommend staying at this hotel to everyone. The staff are super professional, friendly, and helpful. A big thank you to Xiao Yang for taking such good care of us! The room is fully equipped with everything you might need — it's all clean, new, and comfortable. Breakfast with the giraffes is amazing! There are also lots of other animals on the hotel grounds, so it's definitely worth exploring.

Our stay at the manor was amazing. Breakfast with the giraffes and lunch with the monkeys, everything was an experience. Our butler Yang was so very helpfull with everything, any questions we had and when we needed transport they helped us. Everything was clean and tidy, our room was amazing, food was delicious and all animal interactions were safe and fun.

We took a room with a large bed and a children's room, but there were three adults, I calmly lay down on this bed with a height of 177, which was nice. The room is really like in the picture, plus a huge private terrace and a balcony with a beautiful view added impressions, because on this whole floor was only our room and the same on the other side. But of course the best thing about this hotel is the animals, they are incredible, they don't live like in a circus in a cage, they walk. Breakfast with giraffes is really incredible, but not only they are beautiful there, I strongly advise you to study the map and go to the rest of the animals, we were most impressed by ostriches, meerkats and raccoons. About the service, some staff in the hotel spoke English, which is very unusual for China. We had some difficulties with the room, but they helped us solve the problem, cheered us up with some gifts and we were able to enjoy this hotel. We also additionally asked to clean the room, after that everything really became clean. I recommend, the impressions of the animals and the rooms were incredible!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The service was outstanding from start to finish. Yang was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, making sure we had the best possible experience. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable experience. Very nice experience, went there for breakfast with giraffe. In general room was clean however needs renovation. Would be great if at least one person would speak English at the reception. Appreciate gift box and a toy giraffe after check out. Unfortunately we did not have opportunity to see animal park but anyway we’re happy with our stay.
