這邊小鎮的交通很不方便，但房間乾淨整潔還配有咖啡機和新鮮的牛奶。早餐好吃，房東熱情。🐵

Caroline and Gareth are fantastic hosts , very friendly . We stayed for a 2 night short break , excellent room with ensuite , really comfy bed , great nights sleep . Breakfasts are amazing , from just cereal to yoghurt , freshly prepared fruit to full English . The coffee is amazing too. This place has everything you need for a great stay in North Yorkshire

An amazing couple who went the extra yard to look after us during our stay, the full breakfast was 10 out 10, rooms where spotlessly clean and the guest house so welcoming and a lovely place to stay. We will definitely be returning when we come back to this region no hesitation

We didn't stay in the guest house, just turned up for breakfast and it was great! Everything was cooked exactly how I asked for it, and the quality was superb, especially the sausages and bacon. I really couldn't get it shoved into my face fast enough ! The owner is lovely, really friendly and knowledgeable about the area, she gave us some good advice about what to see and do. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Just home from another wonderful short break at The Barn. Excellent hospitality, as ever, from Caroline and Gareth. It's so clear to see how much effort they put into making your stay a memorable experience - for all the right reasons! Nothing seems too much trouble. Comfortable rooms and the BEST of breakfasts. What more could you ask for? Looking forward already to our next stay.

Lovely cafe, coffee excellent, staff excellent. Breakfast terrible. Chewy bacon held in a pain Marie, tasteless sausage that may have been in microwave as hard on the end. Frazzled fried egg a little burnt, great mushroom, tasteless cheap baked beans. Think they need a cook who cares about what goes out on a plate.

Amazing breakfast and friendly welcome. I only live 5 miles away and this is only my second visit! Clearly foolish… I need to make it much more regular! Early afternoon breakfast and left with a very happy belly. Staff were lovely and couldn’t be more welcoming. Breakfast was as good as I could have asked for. Sometimes you don’t realise what’s on your doorstep.

Rude and abrupt! Turned up on Sunday at 1.50pm it was full of people turned round by an abrupt woman saying we are closed (despite it being full) I said what at this time on a busy Sunday? Most unwelcome I ever felt walking in a restaurant. Wont return. Went next door to the Forge for perfect welcoming service!

We arrived as strangers and left feeling like family. Caroline and Gareth made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely, our room overlooking the green was very clean and comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. Complimented with excellent tea and coffee making facilities. The 3 course breakfast was absolutely delicious, from cereals, mixed fresh fruits and berries, yogurts etc, the excellently cooked full breakfast including toast, jam and marmalade, wow. We can't wait to go again. Pets are very welcome too.
