Super 8 by Wyndham Huron

Check in was horrible. I was overcharged beyond what I paid to book the room. The breakfast you couldn’t eat it because it was old or stale. No juice because the machine was broken. The hot tub had bits of dirt or gravel in it. At checkout i inquired why I was being charged more and they said they would contact the owner and communicate with me. No contact. Won’t stay there again.

The desk clerk was great. Very helpful and informative. Will stay there again.

We’ve been on the road for 13 days and this motel was the cleanest we have been in. The front desk clerk was very welcoming, helpful, and super efficient! The rooms are newly remodeled and extremely well appointed. The breakfast was great…first time we’ve had eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy our whole trip!! Well done Super 8.

I wanted a hot tub and clean bed after a long day of riding motorcycle. The hot tub was empty with an “out of order” sign that’s been there for a while. The pool water appeared dirty and the pool area was unkept. The entire hotel was filthy. It was obvious that the carpet wasn’t even vacuumed. The 6:00 breakfast was finally set out at 6:45 and the food area was dirty, so I settled for a bad cup of coffee and a pre-wrapped muffin. I don’t mind staying in a cheap hotel as long as I get a clean bed and hot shower, but I’ll never stay here again. It’s gross.

Breakfast ran until 9. We got there before 8 the waffle batter, syrup, and eggs were all empty. We never did see a staff. We went to the front desk and no one was there. I called and no one answered. We never did see any staff all morning and many people came to an empty breakfast. The back door kept getting propped open so I kept shutting it but every time I opened our room it was propped open again. It was pretty run down. Broken hot tub with nasty water in it. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but it was still disappointing.

Less than adequate Dirty towels in the tub. Items on dresser from previous guest. Had to change rooms. AC was less than adequate. Had it set at the max cooling, just barely tolerable. Breakfast room above pool, way too warm in that area
