The Baron Palace has been a hotel in Hurghada we have wanted to visit for a number of years now, having stayed at (amongst others) Premier Le Reve (twice), Serry Beach Resort and Jaz Casa del Mar Beach in the last 3 years. This is by far our favourite of any Egyptian hotel and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a Sea View room on the Adults side of the hotel on the second floor in March 2025 for 7 nights following a very warm and friendly welcome on our arrival. The rooms were kept very clean and tidy by the tireless hard work of the hotel team - which reflected across all elements of the hotel and impeccably kept gardens and pool areas. The Guest Relations team (including Vivien and Katrina) were exceedingly helpful throughout our stay if we had questions. The animation team were on hand to keep you active if you wanted to be yet were never a nuisance but always had time for a chat also. The waiters, managers, bar and restaurant staff that kept us fed and “watered” at all times were excellent - including Ahmed Zayed, Fekry, Mohamed Galal, Ali, Abdo Tarek, Tarek Abd Elmawgod and Ali Abo Zayd. The pool guy (Mahmoud Ahmed) in the pool area we preferred, would always take our towels to our chosen beds with us when we came to the pool each morning - always making sure we had everything we needed. The buffet was great for breakfast and lunch. However in the evenings we took advantage of booking an a la carte each night and they certainly did not disappoint. The only ones we did not get to try was the Japanese or Mexican. The food at each of these was outstanding and matched by the service. There were the usual “sellers” promoting various add-ons to the stay (spa, hairdressers, trips etc.) - but only sounded us out on day one and left us alone thereafter. We also took advantage of the included laundry service which was amazing and quick too! Our only slight criticism of this hotel is that the room we had - as lovely as it was, was starting to look a bit tired and dated - but that is the case in most Egyptian hotels in our experience. We have booked to return in May with family (adults) in May 2025, and are hoping that our experience will be the same again… we hope to get to the Mexican and Japanese a la cartes also this time.
