There was no-one in the office (motel across the street) when we arrived and fortunately the couple who help with maintenance happened to be there, to check us off on their list and provide a key. We struggled to get the door open and later the one maintenance individual showed me how to giggle the handle. The room was reasonably clean, and the beds comfortable. The carpet was worn and ripped in places, there was a small hole in the bathroom wall door handle level and a junction box with no face plate, it was on the floor. There was a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker but no coffee cups. The air conditioner worked. During the night I heard on odd sound and got up in the morning to discover that some creatures had taken hunks of paper towel presumably for nesting material. It is really too bad that the motel and the one across the road have been allowed to decay. The location is great, close to Huntsville and to Arrowhead park.

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE.I had booked this property thru ******* , I think someone at ******* may want to review the properties they advertise , based on the photos , I booked a room, its a run down motel .not an inn, first impressions was of over grown weeds in the garden, I went to the office and its locked, you have to go across the road to another motel to check in, I took this opportunity to check the motel , 2 rooms had doors open and they smelt bad, also a great opportunity for rodents to enter your rooms. The pictures on the website must of have been taken 15-20 years ago, DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE, ******* should not be associated with a place like this. I did not stay here
