The Milestone Peterborough Hotel, Sure Collection by BW

訂了兩間房，各住3日，訂房時已全數付款，到步時竟然想取消訂單，叫我們找其他酒店，經過一輪爭取，才給我們入住。服務太差，牀單有污穢。我絕不會介紹其他人入住。😡😡😡

It was a great place to stay. Cozy and was close to.my event with Progressive Property, less than 5 miles. Other attendees were staying there. Good enough for the price. Will consider staying here if I am coming to Peterborough again.

The hotel is the basic we needed when we used it. The room is clean and the double bed is spacious enough for 2 people. The breakfast is great with a variety of breakfasts. My only concern is that the taxi is quite expensive compared to Uber, so I will recommend Uber instead of using the hotel taxi list.

Room was dated, with old TV. Generally hotel was nice and breakfast did have an omelette station

Yesterday, the 30th Aug I stayed at the Milestone Hotel. My Wife had booked me a room for the night as I was travelling to Yaxley to pick up a friend. This was the second time I had stayed at the Hotel in the last 3 months. Once again, the room was very comfortable and very clean. As I was travelling alone, I had decided to treat myself to a few drinks in the bar followed by a nice meal in the restaurant. I was really looking forward to it and had deliberately skipped lunch so I had plenty of room for a hearty meal. I came down to the restaurant around 6pm, had a very nice pint of Cobra Beer and grabbed a menu and sat down at a table. Scanning the menu I found the choice very limited there were the usual choices of Burgers, Pizzas and Salads, but feeling very hungry I wanted something a little more substantial. The "Chefs Choices" were the only dishes that ticked the boxes, but there wasn't much choice. Coming from a Seaside town in East Yorkshire I didn't really want Fish & Chips, the Pie & Mash was a possibility but I eventually opted for the 8oz Sirloin. I went to the bar to order only to find there were no steaks left! So I decided to go with my second choice the Steak & Ale pie and mash, I also decided to have a starter, the calamari strips. I grabbed another Cobra and returned to my table. About 20mins later a very nice lady brought the food across. but alas, the starter and main arrived together! Very odd I thought but hey ho, I was very hungry so accepted the 2 plates and picked up my knife & fork. The starter looked nice with a dip and a handful of Lettuce, but when the Pie & Mash was placed in front of me I couldn't believe it also came with Lettuce! Who on earth has Pie Mash and gravy with LETTUCE! I finished the Calamari and the Pie and mash but declined the Lettuce. On my way back to my room I decided not to come down for breakfast in the morning, I dont think I could stomach Sausage Egg Bacon and LETTUCE! Come on guys, who designed the menu, Peter Rabbit?

Had a great experience, the workers are very attentive to everything i needed. Breakfast was great! will definitely be coming back.
