Went to the Green Lodge for supper with family. Lovely warm welcome and all the staff were so efficient and friendly. We had drinks and then lovely steak and chips and a bottle of red. Service was very efficient, the food was lovely - fresh and hot. There was a lovely relaxed ambience in the pub with families and friends enjoying an evening out and it was dog friendly. The landlady and her team were a joy. Thank you Green Lodge, keep up the great work!

This is a lovely place for an overnight stay. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The food in the restaurant was nice and the atmosphere in the pub was fabulous. Any little and I do mean little niggles were totally wiped out by the fabulous staff member Lucy. Every hotel should have a Lucy. She was the most pleasant,smiley and helpful person and she went out of her way with everyone she served. Even arranged for a table to have cheese with their breakfast. I can recommend a stay here and I hope Lucy is here when you stay.

A pub with rooms, this is our go to place when staying in the area. The staff are always friendly serving usual Martin’s menu and drinks. The rooms are always clean and of a good standard. I have given 4 stars purely because it is in need of some refurbishment work. The breakfast is worth the stay on its own they are always tasty and freshly cooked to order, served with the best thing of all a smile.

Arrived at 12,40pm,and got a table. Waited a while before drink order taken-then a 10 minute wait for drinks. Gave our food order at 20 to 1 pm-we asked after 25 mins, how long till food -told-in a while-by 1.20pm-still no food-asked again, and told-in a while-so, we decided to leave!-paid for our drinks, and left to try the The Ring O Bells in West Kirby- we arrived, drinks and food order taken, and delivered in a timely fashion-and was lovely! Lesson learnt!! Will not be back in a hurry!

Fabulous experience at the Green Lodge ,Fantastic food wonderful and knowledgeable staff all enhanced with a helpful and just the right amount of attention throughout our meal gorgeous food and menu choice ,karina is an amazing manager and an asset to Marstons ,along with her team of Jenny and Sophie made our Birthday celebrations wonderful' can't wait to return

Great food & service. Recommend. Also entertainment was superb couldn’t speak any higher about the place. Staff were friendly and service was prompt leading to us having a great time here. Also the food was of exemplar standard. Thanks for having me.

Me and my husband came in for a meal on Saturday and the food was simply divine! The place has a beautiful interior and great atmosphere, which was only exacerbated by the wonderful staff that are employed there. Our waitress Sophie was radiant and so lovely, she definitely has a knack for waitressing and she always had a smile on her face. Me and my husband felt so welcomed and we adored having her as a waitress. We shall definitely be coming back soon!

Had a gorgeous meal here over the weekend, the signature sharer is gorgeous and the kebabs are to die for. All hot and delicious. Sophie our server was so attentive and bubbly, and she couldn't do enough for us. The beer garden is fab too, especially nice for sunny days
