A simply welcoming professional hotel. Good food Good service Amenities are all in good order and for our group we were well looked after.

We booked out stay with friends for the Carolina Hurricanes Game. Great location, close enough to the arena but also surrounded by many great restaurants. The hotel had a nice bar, that stayed open pretty late after we got back from the game. we will be going back if the price is right for our next hockey game. The service and cleanliness was great.

My wife and I are loyal Marriott customers, so we were delighted when the ballroom dance competition we attended was to be held in the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. The local is just accress US 70 from the Crabtree Valley Mall and within a few minutes of restaurants, shopping, theaters, etc. We had requested a room upgrade and were given a slightly bigger room wtih two queen beds and a small balcony. The balcony overlooked a roof and didn't provide much of a view. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Because we would be changing outfits during the competition we elected not to have housekeeping. We did, however, order room service breakfasts on the three mornings we were there (other competitors complained of slow service in the restaurant). These was a modest sized desk that my wife used for her ballroom makeup. However, it was not equipped with a lamp which was a disadvantage. In fact, the lighting for the entire room (other than the entrance and bathroom) consisted of a sconce on the wall adjacent to one bed, a lamp between the beds, and a reading light for each bed, which we found generally inadequate for the size of the room. As is the case in most hotels these days, closet space was minimal. The sliding "barn door" that covered the closet or the small fridge (depending on its placement) had a full view mirror, but was very difficult to slide from one side to the other. The outlets adjacent to the beds had lost their grip, so anything plugged into them was likely to fall out. Several hundred people attended the competition, and we assumed that most, if not all, were staying in the hotel. However, only 2 of the 3 elevators were functioning, forcing many attendees to take the stairs to and from their rooms rather than spend time waiting for an elevator that might be filled to capacity. Be aware that the hotel has a limited number of luggage carts and, as far as we could tell, no bellman service. Some of these concerns would not be issues for the casual traveler, and we found the staff to be friendly, cordial, and helpful.

We had a great time and experience. She was a great person and customer service. We were there for a wedding and she took care of us. We got our food and drinks quickly. Jennifer was a great server. She has a glowing personality courteous and absolutely amazing

Came here to RDU Marriott Crabtree valley and decided to have a couple drinks and some dinner Had the pleasure of being waited by Jennifer Collado a very very funny, helpful and friendly bartender She definitely made all the difference for me! Such a treat.

I am in the middle of my second stay here during July 2024. The hotel is conveniently placed near Crabtree Valley Mall and circa 1.5 miles from the nearest grocery store (Walmart). The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating and the gym facilities are very good indeed. The reason my score is a 3 is because none of the hotel room doors have a soft door closer. Therefore the door will slam shut if the guest does not close the door by hand. This is fine until you’re trying to get some sleep. I’m into my third night of a 10 night stay and seriously considering moving as I’ve had 2 sleepless nights already since arriving. I did raise this on my previous stay and received an email from management. Appreciate this isn’t easy to fix and will require some capital expenditure however, maybe a letter in each guests room might help. Other than that, no issues.

Breakfast was excellent. Service was top notch, waitress was very friendly. Food was really tasty I had the omelette and a side of gravy! So good. Price is a bit more expensive but it was worth it. Rooms are clean and everything worked well. Highly recommend this location.

First time at this Marriott but a well seasoned traveler, normally loyal to this brand. Typically, stay at other Marriott properties in the area but decided to try this hotel. Expecting full service, it was anything but. Greeted by a surly desk clerk, who didn’t recognize my status and didn’t seem particularly pleasant. Only to encounter 2 of 3 elevator banks out of service for a sold out hotel. Also, paid for parking in an open and unguarded lot. Never again!
