Hounslow Central Hotel

Booked 3 months in advance but when we got there were told booking was cancelled. Showed receptionist our confirmation but she was dismissive and said we'd had a cancellation email, which we hadn't. When asked why it was cancelled she said they were fully booked but couldn't explain why we were able to book it if that was the case. All further questions we had were not answered she just gave us an email address. No customer service at all, didn't offer to help us by advising us of other local hotels we could use. In fact she lacked any empathy or emotion at all. We believe we were lied to as when we looked at the windows front and back all the curtains were closed, it was midday. They obviously were not open as we passed again the next day and curtains still closed. We've looked on various booking sites and whatever dates we put in they all say unavailable or fully booked. Why keep reception open when your not accepting bookings? Something just didn't feel right.

The room was the dirtiest we've ever stayed in, dirty, grime and dirt in the sink, round taps, shower tray and plug hole also round toilet seat. The floor was also full of hair and didn't look like it had been cleaned for ages. The curtains which were 4 different pieces, didn't fit the windows, so let light in all night. There was what looked like leaves and milk on the window cills and paint all-over the frames was also loaded with dust. The downstairs was tacky and had cracked tiles around the reception desk, which is hardly ever manned and altho there is a bell, they take ages to answer it when rang, many times from a different room we were told to WAIT!!!! There is NO dining room as advertised, it is what looks like a laundry room! When we spoke with member of staff, we were told they couldn't get it changed or change our room, we cleaned as vest we could to have a shower and left after 1 night and moved ourselves to another hotel as the previous night was gone 2am, with no help from staff members and we had nowhere to go. No refund or compensation is being refunded. Think very carefully before booking this hotel and also the area is not a pleasurable place to be.

Very nice rooms. And a very good location I was working in the area and found this place. Opposite you have a variety of pubs and food places. Amazing service from the team who run the place. Free parking out back covered by cctv
