The Continental Hotel, Heathrow

Very nice place been to it more than once and always satisfied

The write up on Trip.com would read as an excellent luxury hotel ,but in essence it is what is known as a “dive” and I don’t use that word lightly. Extremely surprised to even see this on the site of Trip.com.

I'm not sure what the bad reviews are all about! I have stayed here with friends a couple of times several years ago and the hotel was decent enough back then, but upon returning this past weekend it has improved immensely and is even better. Customers now have access to the pool and spa facilities on site, and the rooms appear to have been renovated (the one we stayed in, 414, at least!). The decor is lovely, the rooms are large and comfortable, with a big TV and a comfortable bed. For anybody wondering, the air conditioning worked perfectly and blew ice cold or toasty warm at the touch of a button. The bathroom was very modern, with a large powerful shower. The hotel itself is based very close to a tube station, and is in close proximity to the town centre which has lots of shops and cafes, etc. the staff were all very friendly, and we would definitely book this hotel again in the future. The only slight drawback is that parking is very limited in the hotel's carpark, so it is worth planning where to park in advance, but don't let this put you off, there are numerous nearby car parks available.

Not recommended for free also Rooms are not worth to pay 80.00 pound.drainage, cleaning,cobwebs,filthy carpets,AC not working, amenities is zero facilities, better check it on Google review of mine,most of reviews there are not right.better not check in before checks,

Very good ambiance. This hotel is located near to the train station and also accessible to local amenities easily . Customer service is outstanding especially Samir Khadka working on the reception. He is one of the best customer service provider I have ever come across. This place is highly recommended!

One thing I like about this Hotel is hospitality. Ambiance is impeccable! Staffs are awesome especially Samir Khadka working in reception. He knows how to treat guest. I am kinda regular to this hotel just because of the level of his service he has provided. Very impressed!

It’s taken 50 plus yeas to write a review of any kind but I felt compelled to tell everyone to avoid this place at any cost! I could list many things but the room wouldn’t cool, the facilities and cleanliness is incredibly poor! It’s only benefit is its proximity to Heathrow, but avoid or you will most likely regret the decision.

At first glance I thought this was a decent hotel room but after staying there, I found there to be a number of issues with the room: - Cracked window - Crusty, stained carpets - Crusty and stained chair - AirCon not working - Inbuilt ironing board but no power sockets nearby - Missing towel

Lovely hotel really handy for both Twickenham and London for sightseeing. Every member of staff goes above and beyond . Definitely our go to hotel for future visits. Hotel is clean and beds very comfortable. We are going again this Friday for another visit
