"Great location, close to everything. Room was perfect size, and the toilet seat was a highlight! I’m going to miss the luxury when I returned. However, the staff were unhelpful, no welcome greeting- I’m not fussy - just expecting basic service. The room had a strong cigarette smell, which was unpleasant. Navigation was also tricky due to the unclear signage - the name seemed to have changed without notice. Overall, an average experience. 3/5 stars."

"Walkable distance to Westlake (a v nice walk). Very clean rooms with a cute AI audio assistant (to speak to in Chinese to change songs etc.) and fantastic service from the staff - we spoke via WeChat and they responded immediately (whether we needed to clean our rooms, or them notifying us that our delivery food has arrived and they’ve placed it at our doors). They have been so hospitable and it made the stay so nice!  A very nice place to stay in if you want somewhere tranquil and nice to stay that’s not amidst the hustle / crowds at westlake. I saw the other hotels I contemplated booking previously and found them too near high tourist traffic. Very happy with our decision to book here :) will defo book here again if we come back to Hangzhou (even our DIDI driver mentioned that this place looks v nice hehe).  Also there’s a cafe downstairs :) with v nice view and just good vibes. "It’s a lovely and atmospheric place to stay, close to a  traditional quarter great for shopping and wandering around. The accommodation is a bit hard to find and getting there, if you have any suitcases, will be a bit noisy and effortful. The rooms are clean and are well equipped. Some noise from other rooms if guests are being loud in the common area or noise from the hustle and bustle outside, which is inevitable. The service is a little distant. They are helpful and understanding but I wouldn’t say it feels friendly. For example, they were very gracious to stay up late and wait for us due to a delay flight and therefore check-in, but offered no assistance with our luggage. They would kindly bring us daily refreshments but whenever you enter or leave the accommodation, there is no acknowledgement or greeting at the front desk. It may just be a cultural thing but it does feel strange. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here."

"A Truly Refreshing Stay at Vienna International Hotel (Fuyang Changkou) My recent stay at the Vienna International Hotel in Fuyang Changkou was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. As a frequent traveler, I have high expectations for comfort, service, and value, and this hotel exceeded them all. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant and distinctively European lobby. The check-in process was swift and seamless, handled by the incredibly polite and professional front desk staff. They greeted me with genuine warmth and were very helpful in answering my questions about the local area. My room was a haven of comfort. It was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The signature Vienna aesthetic, with its classic touches and soothing color palette, created a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally comfortable – the mattress and pillows provided perfect support, ensuring I had two nights of deep, restful sleep. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities, including a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection, a flat-screen TV, and a powerful air conditioning system that allowed me to set the perfect room temperature. The ensuite bathroom was spotless, with excellent water pressure in the shower and a generous supply of hot water. While I didn't have time to explore all the hotel facilities, the overall environment was quiet and peaceful, which is crucial for a business traveler. The hotel's location in the Changkou area of Fuyang was convenient for my needs, offering a respite from the busier city center while still being accessible. What truly stood out, however, was the consistent high level of service. Every staff member I encountered, from the housekeeping team to the breakfast attendants, was courteous and attentive. In conclusion, my stay at the Vienna International Hotel (Fuyang Changkou) was outstanding. It offers exceptional value for money, combining top-notch comfort, impeccable cleanliness, and superb service. I would not hesitate to choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area and highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers seeking a reliable and pleasant stay."

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay here, the place is a little cute village vibe. If your looking for somewhere a bit more quiet this is the perfect place for you. The west lake is close by didi. We actually walked over which took a bit longer but really worth it it cause you see a lot of great views. Our hotel accommenders were amazing, so friendly even though there was a language barrier. They helped upgraded our room for free and even carried our heavy luggage up the spiral stairs even though we refused. Truly recommend this place, 100% worth it."

"A beautiful hotel as shown in the photos on Trio. Service was first class from the time we arrived with the cart meeting us at the main road and escorting us up to the hotel. Our windscreen was covered to reduce the heat during our stay. The room was stunning and location quiet despite being at the top of a busy walking spot. The pool area was clean and well reviewed after a long day walking. The staff were all attentive from start to end- always checking if we needed anything with good use of English. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also, Llts of tea plantations and hiking on the area."

"it was nice, only downside the spa requires additional fees and were not included and also the pool closed at 21:00 instead of 22:00. which is okay but i arrived at 21:40 so i onlt had 20 minutes to swim. the gym is the best i have seem troughout the country, it looked like a serious gym that actually has people, just a few but perfect and the amount of equipment is very impressive. normally in a hotel you only get a few dumbels"

"Stunning architecture in a beautiful location. Wanted to try this Dusit as had stayed at the Dusit Thani in Bangkok and thought it was out of this world. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the one in Hangzhou. The service was not as attentive and warm and the food was definitely not in the same league, especially the breakfast - compared to Bangkok it was hugely disappointing. Drinks and cocktails selection was poor; only a gin and tonic available or two other fruit juice-based cocktails that were not very good. Had the feeling that the staff tried their best but much could be learnt from studying the exceedingly high customer service experience standards that the Bangkok Dusit holds itself to. The venue is probably the most aesthetically pleasing in the area if you want a lovely stay near the Tianmu hiking trails. However, don’t expect much in the way of a culinary experience."
